مطالعه تطبیقی بازنمایی اسطوره «لویاتان» در آثار لویاتان توماس هابز و فیلم لویاتان آندری زویا گینتسف

اسطوره‌ها همیشه در طول تاریخ به شکل‌های مختلف بازنمایی شده‌اند. در دنیای معاصر می‌توان خوانش جدیدی از تعاریف و مفاهیم اسطوره‌ها در روابط اجتماعی، اقتصادی و سیاسی و حوزه هنر و آثار هنری ازجمله فیلم‌ها، تئاتر و غیره مشاهده کرد. اسطوره‌ی لویاتان به‌عنوان یکی از اساطیر شر و آشوب در کتاب مقدس به شکلِ گفتارهای نوشتاری و تصویری در دوره مدرن مورد بازنمایی قرار گرفته‌اند. توماس هابز فیلسوف انگلیسی نیز در کتاب خود با تشبیه حکومت به لویاتان بر قدرت قاهره‌ی آن در جهان امروزی اشاره کرده است. وی بر این اعتقاد است که افراد جامعه باید برای حفظ آرامش، امنیت، حراست عمومی و جلوگیری از بروز شر یا لویاتان درون افراد از یک حاکم مطلق ولو مستبد اطاعت کنند. این نوع بازنمایی اسطوره‌ی لویاتان در دنیای معاصر از منظر هنرمندان و فیلم‌سازان نیز دور نماند. آندری گینتسف فیلم‌ساز روسی با توجه به این نوع بازنمایی اسطوره‌ به نگارش و ساخت فیلم لویاتان اقدام کرد. نوشته‌ی حاضر سعی بر آن دارد تا با رویکردی تطبیقی و بر اساس منابع کتابخانه‌ای و دیداری- شنیداری به بررسی انواع بازنمایی از اسطوره‌ی لویاتان در اثر توماس هابز و فیلم آندری زویا گینتسف بپردازد. بر اساس یافته‌های این پژوهش گینتسف با بازنمایی اسطوره‌ی لویاتان برخلاف عقیده‌ی هابز اسطوره‌ی لویاتان را در قالب یک حکومت شر در نظر گرفته که شرارت و آسیب‌های آن بر سر افراد جامعه سایه افکنده و نظم و آرامش را از آن‌ها سلب کرده و درواقع حکومت، خود، نماد لویاتان است. وی از مولفه‌های بیان‌شده در کتاب مقدس و نیز دوران مدرن مانند کتاب لویاتان هابز جهت بازنمایی این اسطوره در فیلم خود وام گرفته است.

a comparative study of the representation of the leviathan myth in the works of leviathan thomas hobbes and the film leviathan by andrey zvyagintsev

myths have always been represented in different forms throughout history. in the contemporary world, one can see a new reading of the definitions and concepts of myths in social, economic and political relations and in the field of art and works of art such as films, theater, etc. the myth of leviathan is represented in the bible as one of the myths of evil and turmoil in the form of written and pictorial discourses in the modern period. the english philosopher, thomas hobbes by likening the government to leviathan, points to the power in the world today. he believes that the people of society should obey an absolute ruler, even a tyrant, in order to maintain peace, security, public protection and prevent evil or levitation within the people. this kind of representation of leviathan myth in the contemporary world is not far from the perspective of artists and filmmakers. russian filmmaker andrey zvyagintsev wrote and made leviathan based on this kind of representation of the leviathan myth. the present article tries to examine the various representations of leviathan myth by thomas hobbes and andrey zvyagintsev with a comparative approach based on library and audio-visual sources. according to the findings of this study, gintsev, by representing the myth of leviathan, contrary to hobbes's view, considers the myth of leviathan as an evil government whose evil and harms overshadow the people of society and deprive them of order and peace, and in fact the government itself. it is the symbol of leviathan. he borrows elements from the bible as well as modern times, such as leviathan hobbes, to represent this myth in his film.
