   Performance comparison of high speed VLSI adders

چکیده    In current vlsi technology,the occurrence of delays has become unavoidable. many digital systems have delays. energy efficient design requires understanding of available algorithms,recurrence structures,energy and wire tradeoffs,circuit design techniques,circuit sizing and system constraints. in this paper,16-bit and 64 bit adder is designed. comparison is made between all types in terms of delay. xilinx ise is used for simulation and synthesis .16 bit ling adder has a delay of 13.880 ns and 64 bit ling adder has a delay of 51.841ns. area is also found and comparison is made. xilinx ise and microwind dsch is used for measuring area for all the adders. windows xp os is used for this work.
