Pavement recycling is an attractive choice for road maintenance since it allows considerable savings as it reduces the use of virgin materials,and minimizes transportation of materials off-site. the main objective of this paper is to investigate the effect of using marble dust and crushed marble in asphalt cold mixes using polymerized asphalt emulsions. a control mix cm was prepared using the ordinary limestone; three mixes were prepared using the marble waste as substitutions of limestone aggregates. in addition,polymer was added to another three mixes. marshall specimens were prepared and tested for their properties and the optimum asphalt contents were obtained. based on this phase of study,three mixes mix3,mix4 and mix6 were selected. these mixes and the cm were tested for their response under repeated traffic loads. the role of replacing sand and powder with marble wastes is more important to increase stability while replacing 1% of asphalt emulsion with polymer is more important in controlling rut depth. using of both marble.wastes and 1% polymer resulted in an increase of 167.1% in stability and yielded a reduction of 61.9% in rut depth. finally,the authors recommend expanding the study to assure the outcomes.
