چکیده
|
The effect of concentration and temperature of water soluble polyethelyne- glycol peg quenching media,on the microstructure,hardness as well as the corrosion performance of medium carbon ms steel 1045 were studied. the . inhibition action of pegs enhances with increasing their concentrations and decreases with the increase in temperature. using water + peg mixture with concentration 15% provides the highest hardness values and best corrosion resistance. thermodynamic studies confirmed that peg adsorption followed the langmuir adsorption isotherms. thermodynamic parameters,such as enthalpy ah0**
