   Shell Buckling Behavior of Fused Composite Worsted Fabrics

چکیده    The aim of this paper is investigation of someimportant parameters in shell buckling of fused interliningworsted fabric with different weight and considering fivedifferent relative orientation angles (0°, 22.5°, 45°, 67.5°, 90°)according to the machine direction of non-woven fusibleinterlining and a face fabric. the formability of the preparedfused fabric composite based on shell buckling curves andlindberg's hypothesis is also reported. the shell bucklingcompression behavior of fused fabric composite isinvestigated using a special corrugated clamp based todahlberg's test method.the result show that with increasing the interliningrelative orientation angle, buckling loads and buckling energyparameters decrease, whereas, hysteresis and compressionremaining increase. the fused fabric composites exhibit thehighest formability at 67.5° relative orientation angle. theresults show that at 0° relative orientation angle, the lowestbuckling hysteresis, compressibility and compressionremaining are obtained.
