بررسی و مقایسه عملکرد دانش‌آموزان دختر و پسر پایه چهارم در حل مسائل کلامی ریاضی براساس مدل نیومن

هدف پژوهش حاضر بررسی و مقایسه‌ عملکرد دانش‌آموزان دختر و پسر پایه‌ چهارم در حل مسائل کلامی ریاضی براساس مدل تحلیل‌خطای ‌نیومن است. روش پژوهش، توصیفی از نوع پیمایشی است. جامعه‌ آماری، دانش‌آموزان پایه‌ ‌چهارم منطقه‌  12تهران است که 399 نفر از این دانش‌آموزان به روش تصادفی‌خوشه‌ای به عنوان نمونه انتخاب شدند. ابزار اندازه‌گیری، آزمونی محقق‌ساخته شامل چهار پرسش تشریحی ‌است که روایی صوری و محتوایی آن توسط توسط چند تن از استادان و صاحب‌نظران آموزش ریاضی تایید شد. پایایی ابزار با توجه به ضریب آلفای کرونباخ 0.8 به‌دست آمد که در سطح مطلوبی بود. براساس نتایج، تفاوت معناداری در عملکرد دختران و پسران در حل مسائل کلامی ریاضی وجود دارد و به طور کلی، دانش‌آموزان پسر در حل این نوع مسائل با مشکلات کمتری مواجه بودند. نتایج نشان داد اتکای بیش از حد دانش‌آموزان به دانش رویه‌ای خود و سطحی‌بودن دانش مفهومی‌شان می‌تواند از علل ضعف آن‌ها در حل‌مسائل‌کلامی باشد. همچنین، شمار اندک مسائل کلامی ارائه‌شده در کتاب‌های درسی ریاضی پایه‌های اول تا چهارم ابتدایی و در نتیجه آموزش ناکافی در این راستا از دیگر عوامل منفی موثر در دستیابی دانش‌آموزان به حل مسائل کلامی محسوب می‌شود.

The investigation and comparison of 4th grade girl and boy students’ performance in word problem solving based on the Newman’s Error Analysis

The aim of this study was to investigate and compare the performance of fourth grade girl and boy students in solving mathematical word problems based on the Newman error analysis model. The research method is descriptive survey. The statistical population is the fourth grade students of Tehran’s 12th district that 339 students were selected by using cluster sampling. The instrument is a researchermade test consisting of four descriptive questions whose face and content validity was confirmed by several professors and experts in mathematics education. The reliability of the instrument was obtained according to Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of 0.8, which was at a desirable level. According to the results, there is a significant difference in the performance of girls and boys in solving word math problems and in general, boys had less difficulties in solving these types of problems. The results showed that students’ excessive reliance on their procedural knowledge and shallowness of their conceptual knowledge can be one of the reasons for their weakness in solving word problems. Also, the small number of word problems presented in the mathematics textbooks of the first to fourth grades of elementary school and as a result of insufficient education in this regard are other negative factors affecting students’ ability to solve word problems.
