تاثیر استفاده از راهبرد رسم شکل در حل مسائل کلامی ریاضی

هدف این پژوهش، بررسی تاثیر استفاده از راهبرد رسم شکل (ترسیم) بر موفقیت دانش آموزان در حل مسائل کلامی ریاضی در پایه دهم بود و از بین انواع ترسیم های توصیه شده توسط محققان مختلف، ترسیم/ شکل های سه گانه «شبکه‌ای، سلسله‌مراتبی و ماتریسی» معرفی شده توسط نوویک و هرلی (2001) برای طراحی ابزار استفاده شد. شرکت‌کنندگان در این پژوهش، 40 دانش‌آموز پایه دهم از یکی از شهرهای استان مرکزی بودند. داده ها از طریق دو آزمون شامل شش مسئله کلامیِ یکسان و در فاصله یک هفته، جمع آوری شدند، با این تفاوت که در آزمون دوم، برای هر یک از شش مسئله، یکی از انواع شکل های سه گانه، اضافه شد. نتایج به دست آمده نشان داد که به غیر از ترسیم های ماتریسی، دو نوع دیگر تاثیری بر بهبود حل مسئله کلامی دانش آموزان نداشتند. پس لازم است که برای حل مسئله کلامی، بر انتخاب شکل/ ترسیم متناسب که به درک صورت مسئله کمک کند، توجه و تمرکز شود.

the effects of using diagram-drawing strategy on solving mathematical word problems

the purpose of this research was to investigate the effects of using diagram-drawing strategy on solving mathematical word problems among 10th graders in iran. the sample for this study included 40 students. the data was collected through a test consisting of six problems. for this test, three types of diagrams, namely network, hierarchy and matrix, were applied. the test was administered twice; first time without diagrams and second time after one week, adding diagrams to the test. the effects of three types of diagrams on solving word problems, was investigated. the results showed that, the only one that made a significant effect on students’ improvement of solving problems, was matrix diagrams. the research suggested that the appropriateness of diagrams in relation to the structure of problem is crucial. this implies that only adding diagrams to word problems, do not guaranty the students’ improvement in word problem solving.
