بررسی اثرات ضد‌دیابتی و محافظت‌کبدی ‏عصاره آبی گزنه در موش‌های نر ویستار ‏دیابتی‌شده با استرپتوزوتوسین

دیابت و بیماری های کبدی از مشکلات جدی و تهدیدکننده سلامتی جوامع محسوب می‌شوند. گزنه در طب سنتی ایران به عنوان یک داروی کاهنده گلوکز خون معرفی شده است. گزارشات علمی متناقضی از اثرات کاهندگی قندخون گیاه گزنه وجود دارد، ولی این گیاه دارای خواص آنتی اکسیدانی و ضدالتهابی خوبی برای کاهش آسیب های کبدی است. پژوهش حاضر به بررسی اثر ضددیابتی و محافظت کبدی عصاره آبی گزنه در موش های نر نژاد ویستار پرداخته است. موش ها به پنج گروه تقسیم شده و گروه های آزمون برای بررسی اثرات ضد دیابتی و محافظت کبدی به ترتیب برای 14 و 32 روز، عصاره گزنه را روزانه به صورت خوراکی با دوزهای 2.5 و 5 میلی لیتر به‌ازای هر کیلوگرم از وزن حیوان دریافت کردند. میزان قند خون با گلوکومتر و فعالیت آنزیم های کبدی با کیت های شرکت پارس آزمون اندازه گیری شد. نتایج با استفاده از آزمون آماریstudent’s t-test  و anova و با استفاده از نرم‌افزارspss  ویرایش 21 مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت. قندخون در گروه های آزمون اول و دوم (mg/dl 170 و 122)، نسبت به گروه کنترل منفی (mg/dl 446) کاهش معناداری نشان داد. فعالیت آنزیم های کبدی نیز در گروه های آزمون اول و دوم، نسبت به گروه کنترل منفی کاهش معناداری نشان داد. عصاره آبی گزنه اثرات مفیدی در مدیریت بیماری دیابت و حفظ سلامت سلول های کبدی در برابر ترکیبات سمی دارد.

Investigation of Anti–diabetic and ‎Liver Protective Effects of The ‎Aqueous Extract of Urtica dioica ‎on Streptozotocin Induced Male ‎Wistar Mice

Diabetes and liver diseases are serious problems and threaten the health of communities. Nettle has been introduced in traditional Iranian medicine as a blood glucose lowering drug. There are conflicting scientific reports about the effects of reducing the blood sugar of nettle, but this plant has good antioxidant and antiinflammatory properties to reduce liver damage. Current study, examines the antidiabetic and liver protective effects of the aqueous extract of urtica dioica in vistar male rats. The mice were divided into five groups and in order to investigation of antidiabetic and liver protective effects, test groups obtained daily 2.5 and 5 ml/kg of the aqueous extract of urtica dioica orally for 14 and 32 days, respectively. Blood glucose was measured with a glucometer and liver enzyme activity was measured with ParsAzmoon kits. The results were analyzed using Student’s T–Test and ANOVA using SPSS software version 21. Blood sugar levels in first and second test groups (170 and 122 mg/dl) showed a significant decrease compared to the negative control group (446 mg/dl). The activity of liver enzymes in the first and second test groups also showed a significant decrease compared to the negative control group. The aqueous extract of urtica dioica has beneficial effects in managing diabetes and maintaining the health of liver cells against toxic compounds.
