یاء معرفه در موصوفِ صفتِ عالی مبحثی تازه در دستورِ تاریخیِ زبانِ فارسی

در متون کهن، در بسیاری موارد، «تر» در معنیِ «ترین» و صفتِ تفضیلی هم‌معنیِ صفتِ عالی است. در قدیم گاهی به موصوفِ مفردی که پس از صفتِ عالی یا پس از صفتِ تفضیلیِ هم‌معنی با صفتِ عالی می‌آمد، یائی می‌افزودند. پرویز ناتل خانلری این نوع «ی» را از انواع یاء نکره تشخیص داده است، امّا از آنجا که صفتِ عالی یکی از وابسته‌های معرفه‌سازِ اسم است، یاء پیوسته به موصوفِ صفتِ عالی نیز از مصادیقِ یاء معرفه است. در ترجمۀ عربی به فارسی، به‌ویژه در گزارش قرآن کریم، نیز این نوع «ی» در ترجمۀ کلماتِ معرفه به الف و لام به‌کار رفته است. به نظر می‌رسد این نوع «ی» در اصل یاء موصول باشد. این نوع یاء معرفه برای بعضی از کاتبان و مصحّحان و ویراستاران متون کهن ناشناخته مانده و همین امر سبب پیدایش سهوهایی در کتابت و تصحیح و ویرایش متون شده است.

in the past, sometimes “-y” was added to the singular qualified noun that came after the superlative adjective. also, this -y was used in the singular qualified noun that came after the comparative adjective synonymous with the superlative adjective. parvīz nātil khānlarī recognized this type of -y as a sign of indefiniteness, but since the superlative adjective is one of the types of the definer qualified noun, “-y” attached to the noun related to the superlative adjective is also one of the examples of the definite “-y”. in the translations of arabic phrases, especially in the translation of the holy quran, this type of -y is used in the words that are the translation of the definite noun. it seems that this type of y is actually relative “-y”. this type of definite “-y” has remained unknown to some scribes, proofreaders, and editors of classical texts, and this has caused errors in the transcription, textual criticism, and editing of the texts.
