اسم جنس در فارسی معاصر

از آن‌جا که درک «اسم جنس» در زبان‌ها همواره مسئلۀ دشواری بوده، از بررسی این مقولۀ دستوری به‌طور دقیق و جامع غفلت شده‌است. در این مختصر، نخست به‌بررسی و تشریح انواع اسم جنس ازلحاظ معنایی پرداخته‌ایم. علاوه‌بر این، نشان داده‌ایم که مقولۀ اسم جنس، یکی از انواع طبقۀ «نکره» نیست، به عبارتی امکانات دستوری نکره توانایی رمزگذاری اسم جنس را ندارند و اسم جنس در زبان فارسی به‌عنوان یک مقولۀ دستوری مجزا فقط با بهره‌گیری از نشانۀ جمع و بی‌نشانگی رمزگذاری می‌شود. در همین راستا، با ارائۀ استدلال‌هایی این مهم تبیین شده‌است که دو مفهوم «نامشخص» و «جنس»، علی‌رغم شباهت ظاهری، کاملا از یک‌دیگر متمایز هستند. در این پژوهش، ضمایر جنس نیز معرفی شده‌اند که حاصل فرآیند دستوری‌شدگی هستند.

due to the fact that understanding generic noun in languages has always been a difficult problem, investigating this grammatical category precisely and comprehensively has been neglected. in this brief paper, i have first examined and explained types of generic nouns in terms of meaning. in addition, i illustrated that the category of generic noun is not one of the types of the indefinite category; in other words, the grammatical elements of indefiniteness do not have the ability to encode the generic noun and this grammatical concept, as a separate grammatical category, is encoded only by using the plural marker and unmarkedness. in this regard, it has been explained by presenting arguments that the two concepts of non-specific and generic are totally different concepts despite the similarity in appearance. in this research, generic pronouns are also introduced, which are the result of grammaticalization process.
