ساخت موسوم به فاعل غیرکانونی

در این مقاله به بررسی ساخت موسوم به فاعل غیرکانونی می‌پردازیم که در آن مطابقه میان تجربه‌گر و فعل از طریق واژه‌بستی صورت می‌گیرد که میزبان آن سازۀ پیشافعلیست. عدم وجود مطابقۀ کانونی برخی از پژوهشگران را بر آن داشته که تجربه‌گر را مبتدای چپ‌نشان یا برون‌بندی در ساخت مذکور به‌شمار آورند. در این مقاله با به‌کارگیری دستور نقش و ارجاع نشان می‌دهیم که تجربه‌گر در حقیقت یک موضوع درونی برای محمول خود می‌باشد و به دلیل قرار گرفتن در حوزۀ کانون بالقوه یعنی بند، می‌تواند متناسب با شرایط کاربردشناختی جمله، نقش مبتدا یا کانون را ایفاء کند. نیز بر این باوریم که فرض وجود یک رابطۀ ملکی میان واژه‌بست و ساز‌ۀ پیشافعلی ناصحیح می‌باشد چرا که شواهد تاریخی نشان می‌دهند که واژه‌بست در ساخت فاعل غیرکانونی در فارسی امروز، موضوعی با حالت فاعلی در دورۀ فارسی کلاسیک بوده است که در گذر زمان به‌صورت نشانۀ مطابقه باز تحلیل شده است.

The so-called non-canonical subject construction

This paper investigates the socalled noncanonical subject construction where an experiencer noncanonically agrees with the verb via a clitic hosted by the preverbal element. A recurring theme in the literature is that the overt experiencer is a detached topic resulting from the leftdislocation of the state NP possessor. However, coached within an RRG framework, this paper explains that the overt experiencer is not a detached topic, but an internal argument for the psychological predicate. The overt experiencer, being an argument, is free to serve as the topic or focus depending on the context. It is further argued that the overt experiencer is not a subject in line with the characterization of syntactic relations in RRG because undergoer is the only macrorole the overt experiencer takes on. Historical evidence substantiates the claim that no underlyingly genitive association is traceable between the state NP and the clitic surfacing as experiencer.
