پاک‌ چشمی در متون کهن پزشکی و آیینی با نگاهی به اخلاق حرفه‌ای

زمینه و هدف: یکی از موضوع‌هایی که امروزه در اخلاق حرفه‌ای پزشکی مورد تاکید است، موضوع مهم ‌پاک چشمی است. ‌پاک چشمیِ پزشک نه‌تنها در آثار اخلاقی و دینی به‌عنوان فضیلت اخلاقی و تکلیف دینی مورد تاکید است بلکه توجه جدی نسبت به آن در متون تاریخی و کهن پزشکی به جای مانده، دیده می‌شود. علاوه بر متون یاد شده، تاکید بر آن در بسیاری از متون آیینی یا دینی به‌خصوص منابع حدیثی و فقهی به نحو چشمگیری وجود دارد تا جایی که می‌توان آن را موضوعی تاریخی در این متون به شمار آورد.روش: این جستار با روش توصیفی تحلیلی و با بهره‌گیری از منابع کتابخانه‌ای انجام شده است.ملاحظات اخلاقی: در این پژوهش جنبه‌های اخلاقی شامل حفظ اصالت متن، صداقت و امانتداری، رعایت شده است.یافته‌ها: در پاسخ به این سوال که پاک‌چشمی پزشک صِرفاً تکلیف یا فضیلتی اخلاقی و شخصی برای اوست یا اینکه حقیقتی فراتر است یعنی حقی از حقوق بیمار به شمار می‌آید در این پژوهش فرض دوم تقویت می‌گردد. یافتن پیشینۀ تاریخی کهن پزشکی برای این موضوع و دلالت‌های آیینی همسو با آن، به منزلۀ کشف فضیلت‌گرایی مقدم بر اخلاق حرفه‌ای امروزی و درنتیجه موجب بالندگی فرهنگی است. علاوه بر این که ره‌آوردهای امروزی را به گذشته درخصوص موضوع، پیوند می‌دهد.نتیجه‌گیری: موضوع پاک‌چشمی در متون کهن پزشکی صرف نظر از نگاه مذهبی، همواره مورد توجه بوده و لذا به لحاظ تاریخی در پیوند کامل و جدی با اخلاق حرفه‌ای این شاخه از علم است. این نتیجه ساختار اخلاق‌گرای امروزی را با گذشته دور مرتبط می‌سازد گویی آنچه امروز در مقولۀ چشم‌پاکی به‌عنوان حقی برای بیمار تاکید می‌شود، قبلاً بازتاب داشته است.

background and aim: one of the topics emphasized in contemporary medical professional ethics is the crucialissue of chastity. a physician’s chastity is not only highlighted as a moral virtue and religious duty in ethical andreligious texts but also receives serious attention in historical and ancient medical literature. in addition to thesetexts, a strong emphasis on this matter can be observed in numerous religious and doctrinal sources, particularly inhadith and jurisprudential references, to the extent that it can be regarded as a historical subject within these texts.methods: this study employs a descriptive-analytical method using library resources.ethical considerations: this research adheres to ethical principles, including maintaining textual authenticity,honesty, and fidelity.results: in response to the question of whether a physician’s chastity is merely a personal ethical obligation or virtueor if it transcends this and constitutes a patient’s right, this study reinforces the latter assumption. identifying theancient medical history of this issue and its alignment with religious doctrines reveals that virtue ethics precededcontemporary professional ethics, thereby contributing to cultural enrichment. moreover, this connection linksmodern ethical advancements to past traditions on the subject.conclusion: the issue of chastity in ancient medical texts, regardless of religious perspectives, has always been amatter of attention. therefore, from a historical standpoint, it is deeply and consistently intertwined with theprofessional ethics of this branch of science. this finding links the current ethics-based structure to the distant past,as if what is emphasized today under the concept of chastity as a patient’s right had already been reflected earlier.
