Abstract    the soul is a single simple reality that possesses all perfections and powers that are self-existent. the specific feature of the human soul is its power of selection، which allows it to determine the existential level and، consequently، the essence. the soul is the true subject of all actions، so all perceptions and actions، including moral action، are the result of the levels of the soul. the purpose of this research is to explain the relationship between the levels of the soul and moral action in the works of sadra using a descriptive-analytical method. according to sadra، the closer a person is to the higher levels، the more actuality of existential perfection he witnesses and the greater the possibility of moral actions performimed by him. therefore، the actions of the soul were divided into legal، religious، and moral based on the levels of the soul، and the process of performing and the difference of moral action from other actions were explained in origin، intention، and goal. next، by explaining the will of god based on the capacity of the human will and critically considering the limitations of the human will in longitudinal relationship with the will of god، we have preserved and proven the two prerequisites of moral action: man has an absolute will. therefore، from the positive aspect، god has an absolute responsibility for moral actions، and from the negative side، he is not the cause of moral evil.
