بازخوانی ایده امت اسلامی در نظام بین‎الملل معاصر از منظر آیات و روایات

تشکیل اجتماع منسجم و متحدی از مسلمانان در دنیای امروز با توجه به شرایط خاص حاکم بر جهان، ضرورت و نیازی انکارناپذیر است. «امت واحده» مفهوم سازمان‎دهنده و مرکزی برای تمام مسلمانان است. چگونگی شکل‌گیری این مفهوم در نظام بین‌الملل معاصر از ویژگی‌هایی همچون جهانی شدن برخوردار است، که در پژوهش حاضر مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. حضور دولت- ملت‌های مسلمان و کنشگری یکپارچه و مجزای از هم آنها موجب ابهام در مفهوم امت اسلامی شده است. تشکیل امت واحده اسلامی مورد تاکید قرآن کریم و آموزه‎های به‌جامانده از سیرۀ معصومین(ع) است. براساس هر دو منبع مهم اسلامی یعنی آیات و روایات، امت‌سازی یکی از مهم‌ترین پروژه‌های اسلام است. در دوران معاصر نیز این امر را نمی‌توان مورد غفلت قرار داد. هم آیات و هم روایات، تلاش کرده‌اند که سازوکاری را برای تاسیس امت اسلامی طراحی نمایند. این سازوکار را در دورۀ معاصر نیز می‌توان استخراج کرد و به‌کار بست و سویه‌هایی از تاسیس امت اسلامی را به منصۀ ظهور رساند. تا مفهوم امت اسلامی، به مفهومی مبهم تبدیل نشود. به نظر می‌رسد در پاسخ به مسئله چگونگی شکل‎گیری امت اسلامی می‎توان به تنزل عقلی و تدریجی این مفهوم اشاره کرد و اینکه تاسیس امت اسلامی در نظام بین‎المللی جهانی شده که کنشگران اسلامی در آن به صورت دولت- ملت‎های مجزا از هم حضور دارند، امکان‎پذیر نبوده، بلکه تاسیس اتحادیه‎های اسلامی و حرکت به سمت همگرایی میان کشورهای اسلامی می‎تواند به عنوان جایگزینی برای آن باشد. فرایندی که پیش‌تر با تاسیس سازمان‎هایی نظیر کنفرانس اسلامی و یا امروزه کشورهایی همچون مالزی با تاسیس اتحاد اسلامی آن را در دستور کار قرار داده‎اند.

reexamining the idea of the islamic ummah in the contemporary international system from the perspective of qurʾānic verses and ḥadīths

establishing a cohesive and united muslim community in today's world, considering the prevailing global conditions, is an undeniable necessity and need. the notion of the ummah wāḥidah (single unified community) serves as the organizing and central concept for all muslims. the formation of this concept within the contemporary international system possesses characteristics such as globalization, which is analyzed in the present study. the presence of muslim nation-states and their fragmented and isolated actions have led to ambiguity in the concept of the islamic ummah. the establishment of the ummah wāḥidah is emphasized in the noble qurʾān and the teachings derived from the sīrah of the maʿṣūmīn (infallibles, peace be upon them). according to both major islamic sources—qurʾānic verses and ḥadīths—the formation of the ummah is one of islam's most important projects. this matter must not be neglected in the contemporary period. both the verses and the traditions have sought to devise mechanisms for the founding of the islamic ummah. these mechanisms can be extracted and implemented even in the contemporary era to manifest aspects of the ummah's establishment so that the concept of the islamic ummah does not become ambiguous. it appears that in answering the question of how the islamic ummah can be formed, one must refer to the intellectual and gradual decline of this concept. in a globalized international system where islamic actors exist as separate nation-states, the establishment of the ummah is not feasible. rather, the formation of islamic unions and moving towards convergence among islamic countries may serve as an alternative. this process has previously been pursued through the establishment of organizations like the organization of islamic cooperation and is now on the agenda of countries like malaysia through the establishment of an islamic alliance.
