بررسی کمی ترجمه‌های فرانسوی گلستان سعدی و بررسی کیفی برگردانِ چند حکایت با رویکرد تطبیقی

شهرت سعدی از دیرباز از مرزهای ایران فراتر رفته است. از میان شاهکارهای ادبیات فارسی که به دیگر زبان‌ها و از جمله به فرانسه ترجمه شده‌اند، شاید هیچ‌کدام به اندازه گلستان تاثیرگذار نبوده است. این کتاب به لطف ترجمه‌های صورت گرفته، سبب فیض بسیاری از فرانسویان و به ویژه منبع الهام آن دسته از شاعران و نویسندگان غربی بوده است که ذوق و قریحه‌ای نزدیک به سعدی داشته‌اند. در این مقاله، در دو بخش، پس از مروری گذرا بر روند آشنایی فرانسویان با زبان و ادبیات فارسی، ابتدا به بررسی کمی ترجمه‌های گلستان سعدی از آغاز تا به امروز پرداخته‌ایم؛ سپس، با مطالعۀ تطبیقی نمونه‌هایی از کار مترجمان کوشیده‌ایم نشان دهیم که هر ترجمه از لحاظ کیفی چه ویژگی‌ها و نقص‌هایی در بر دارد. در نهایت، به این پرسش پاسخ خواهیم داد که از میان ترجمه‌های موجود گلستان به زبان فرانسه کدامیک وفاداری و اصالت بیشتری نسبت به متن اصلی فارسی دارد.

A comparative study of the quality and quantity of the French translations of Gulistan of Sa'di

Sachr('39')di rsquo;s reputation has long crossed the borders of Iran. Among the masterpieces of Persian literature, which have been translated into other languages, including French, none has been as influential as Gulistan. This book, due to the translations made, has been a source of inspiration for the French, in particular for the European poets and writers who had a taste close to Sachr('39')di rsquo;s. In this article, after briefly reviewing the course of the acquisition of the Persian language and literature among the French, we dealt with the history of the translations of the Gulistan of Sachr('39')di, from the beginning to our time; then, while comparing the examples of translatorschr('39') works, we tried to demonstrate the qualities and flaws of each translation from a qualitative and a quantitative point of view. And finally, we examine this question that among the French translations of Gulistan, which is more faithful to the original book.
