اشتباهات مفهومی دانش‌آموزان در به‌کارگیری متغیر

متغیر یک مفهوم انتزاعی و یکی از اساسی‌ترین و مهم‌ترین مفاهیم جبر است. توانایی درک مفهومی و کار با متغیر، عامل مهمی برای موفقیت دانش‌آموزان در جبر به‌شمار می‌آید. تحقیقات نشان می‌دهد که دانش‌آموزان هنگام کار با متغیر، از یک طرف اشتباهات مفهومی متعددی دارند. هدف این تحقیق که به‌ روش تحلیلی ـ توصیفی انجام گرفته ‌است، شناسایی و دسته‌بندی اشتباهات مفهومی دانش‌آموزان در به‌کارگیری متغیر می‌باشند، از طرف دیگر، با ارایه دلایلی برای این اشتباهات‌ مفهومی و بررسی این که کدام یک از اشتباهات مفهومی دانش‌آموزان در مورد متغیر عمیق‌تر است. از آنجا که آگاهی معلمان، از درک و اشتباهات‌ مفهومی دانش‌آموزان در مورد مفاهیم، برای تدریس بسیار مهم است، نتایج این تحقیق به معلمان فرصت می‌دهد تا با آگاهی از اشتباهات مفهومی دانش‌آموزان، بتوانند برای اصلاح آنها تلاش کنند و درک دانش‌آموزان را از مفهوم متغیر توسعه دهند.

Students’ misconceptions in applying of variable

Variable is an abstract concept and one of the most fundamental and important concept in algebra and understand many algebra concepts such as algebraic equation and function depend on it. Understanding the concept of variable is the base of success students in algebra. The ability of conceptual understanding and applying variables are important factors for succession of students in algebra. Although the variable concept is the foundation of most algebraic concepts, but in many classes that algebra presents, it rarely discussed. Research shows that students when are working with the variable have numerous misconception. Misconceptions, show imperfect knowledge and experience of students how is formed in the teachinglearning situation that must be identified and roots. The purpose of this research that has done in analytical descriptive method, identifying and classifying the student`s misconceptions in applying variable, along with the reasons for the misconception and to investigate that which one of the misconceptions about the variable, is deeper. Because of the teacher`s knowledge from understanding and student`s misconceptions about the concepts, is very important for teaching. The results of this research give teachers the opportunity to make students aware of the misconceptions; they can correct them and try to develop students' understanding of the concept of variable.
