تاثیر دانش زبان انگلیسی بر انگیزه پیشرفت تحصیلی و عزت‌نفس دانشجویان رشته‌های مختلف دانشکده فنی‌و‌حرفه‌ای فاطمیه

هدف پژوهش حاضر بررسی تاثیر دانش زبان انگلیسی بر انگیزه پیشرفت تحصیلی و عزت‌نفس دانشجویان دانشگاه فاطمیه شهرستان بندرعباس است. پژوهش کاربردی است و از روش توصیفی پیمایشی استفاده شده است. جامعه آماری شامل دانشجویان دختر مقطع کاردانی دانشکده فنی‌و‌حرفه‌ای فاطمیه شهرستان بندرعباس در نیم‌سال اول سال تحصیلی 96-1395 بوده که از روش نمونه‌گیری در دسترس و هدفمند استفاده شد. ابزار گردآوری داده‌ها، پرسش‌نامه انگیزه پیشرفت هرمنس، عزت‌نفس آیزنک و دانش زبان انگلیسی نلسون بوده که پس از جمع‌آوری داده‌ها، تجزیه‌و‌تحلیل در سطح آمار استنباطی انجام شده است. یافته‌های پژوهش نشان می‌دهد تفاوت میانگین‌های دانش زبان انگلیسی در بین دانشجویان رشته‌های مختلف دانشکده فنی‌و‌حرفه‌ای فاطمیه شهرستان بندرعباس از نظر آماری معنادار است، اما تفاوت میانگین‌های انگیزه پیشرفت و عزت‌نفس به لحاظ آماری معنادار نیست. همچنین تاثیر متغیر دانش زبان انگلیسی بر انگیزه پیشرفت تحصیلی و عزت‌نفس معنی‌دار است. تعامل دانش زبان انگلیسی و رشته تحصیلی و تاثیر هم‌زمان این دو متغیر مستقل بر متغیر وابستۀ انگیزه پیشرفت تحصیلی، همچنین تعامل بین دانش زبان انگلیسی و رشته تحصیلی و تاثیر هم‌زمان این دو متغیر مستقل بر متغیر وابسته عزت‌نفس، از نظر آماری معنی‌دار نیستند.

The Effect of Knowledge of English on the Academic Achievement Motivation and Self-esteem among Students of Different Majors at Fatemiyeh Technical faculty

The current study is an attempt to investigate the effect of Knowledge of English on academic achievement motivation and selfesteem among students at Fatemiyeh technical faculty of Bandar Abbas. The research was applied and descriptivesurvey method was used. The population consists of undergraduate female students of Fatemiyeh Technical Faculty of Bandar Abbas in the first semester of the academic year of 139596. The available and purposeful sampling method was applied. After collecting through Herman’s motivation achievement questionnaire, Eysenck selfesteem questionnaire and Nelson Knowledge of English test, data were analyzed on the basis of inferential statistics. According to the result the differences among Knowledge of English averages among the participants are significant. But the difference between the averages of motivation achievement and selfesteem is not statistically significant. Also, the effect of Knowledge of English on academic achievement motivation and selfesteem is significant. And the interaction between Knowledge of English and the field of study and the simultaneous effect of these two independent variables on the dependent variable, academic achievement motivation, as well as the interaction between Knowledge of English and the field of study and the simultaneous effect of these two independent variables on the dependent variable, selfesteem, are not statistically significant.
