اخلاق، سیاست و خودآیینی: روایت‌های متفاوتی از مفهوم خودآیینی در اخلاق و سیاست

این مقاله مطالعه‌ای است درباره اخلاق و سیاست. برای انجام این کار، نویسندگان به مطالعه مفهوم خودآیینی متمرکز بوده‌اند. خودآیینی از این جهت اهمیّت دارد که وقتی صحبت از رویکردهای فلسفی یا سیاسی به لیبرالیسم باشد، هر بحثی درباره اخلاق، سیاست و عدالت، به نحوی با آن پیوسته است. این مقاله به طور ویژه روایت‌های لیبرال از خودآیینی را در کنار رویکردهای رقیبی که به نحوی دعاوی لیبرال درباره کاربردهای سیاسی و فلسفی این مفهوم را به چالش کشیده‌اند، بررسی می‌کند. نویسندگان به این نتیجه رسیده‌اند که اخلاقی بودن در رویکردهای لیبرال، ریشه در تصور فرد خودآیین به عنوان اصلی متافیزیکی دارد. درجریان این پژوهش مشخص شده است که این اصل متافیزیکی در معنای سرحدی خود، به پارادوکسی اخلاقی در لیبرالیسم منتهی می‌شود. اینکه خودآیینی در مقام واسطه‌ای مفهومی چه نقشی در صورتبندی‌های ممکن از اخلاق لیبرال دارد، پرسش و رابطه‌‌ی میان اخلاق لیبرال و خودآیننی، فرضیه مقاله است. همچنین روش پژوهش، متن محور است. متن‌گرایی به عنوان یک روش پژوهش بر خلاف تحلیل گفتمان یا روش شناسی‌های هرمنوتیکی با معنای سر راست مفاهیم و عبارات سر و کار دارد. یعنی برای تفسیر معنای مفاهیم نه با مقاصد نویسنده، زمینه‌های تاریخی یا رابطه گفتمان شکل گرفته حول یک مفهوم با سازمان قدرت در جامعه بلکه با معنای خاص آن در متن آنطور که در برخورد اولیه با آن به ذهن می‌رسد، ارتباط برقرار می‌کند. به اعتبار همین ضرورت روش شناختی، نویسندگان تلاش کرده‌اند تا ضمن بهره‌گیری خوانش منابع مرتبط با مفهوم خودآیینی، مدعا و مفروضات خود را به اثبات برسانند.

ethics, politics and autonomy: various account on autonomy in politics and ethics

this paper examines ethics and politics. the authors have focused their research on the concept of autonomy. regarding philosophical or political approaches to liberalism, any discussion of ethics, politics, or justice is inextricably linked to autonomy. this article studies liberal narratives of autonomy alongside counter-approaches that have challenged liberal claims regarding the concept’s political and philosophical applications. the authors conclude that the liberal conception of the autonomous individual as a metaphysical principle is the source of morality. during this investigation, it was determined that this metaphysical principle, in its border sense, produces a moral paradox in liberalism. the significance of autonomy in liberal ethics is the central question of this paper. as a working hypothesis, we examine the relationship between liberal ethics and autonomy in our search for the appropriate response. textualism was used as a method in this paper. unlike discourse analysis or hermeneutic methodologies, textualism focuses on the literal meaning of concepts and phrases. in other words, concepts are interpreted according to their meaning, not their authors’ intentions, historical contexts, or discourse relationships. it is to interpret a concept in light of the organization of power in a society and its specific meaning in the text as it initially comes to mind. due to this methodological requirement, the authors have attempted to provide evidence for their claims and hypotheses.
