خوانش پسااستعماری سفرنامه‌ «آدم‌ها و آیین‌ها در ایران» مادام کارلاسرنا (مورد مطالعه: شهر رشت)

پژوهش حاضر به‌دنبال واکاوی ماهیت سفرنامه‌نوسی به‌مثابه نوعی دانش مربوط به شرق است. مساله این است که آیا این دانش سفرنامه‌نویسی از عینیت برخوردار است یا حامل پیش‌داوری‌های نظام‌مند گفتمان شرق‌شناسی است؟ کشف دوگانگی‌ها و تحلیل سلسله‌مراتب حاکم بر آن‌ها مساله اصلی پژوهش حاضر است. با توجه به کیفی بودن نوع پژوهش، از ادبیات پسااستعماری نه به مثابه چارچوب نظری بلکه برای تفسیر نظری خوانش متن استفاده می‌گردد. روش تحقیق واسازی است که بر اساس طبقه‌بندی هشت‌گانه دیوید بوژه انجام می‌گردد. جامعه‌آماری کتاب سفرنامه آدم‌ها و آیین‌ها در ایران مادام کارلاسرنا است و نمونه پژوهش فصل 53 کتاب (روایت از شهر رشت) می‌باشد که به‌شیوه هدفمند انتخاب شده است. نتایج پژوهش حاکی از وجود تقابل‌های دوگانه شرق و غرب در نمونه مورد بررسی و سلسله‌مراتب حاکم بر آن‌ها بر اساس قاعده کلی فرادستی غرب و فرودستی شرق است. با این همه، صدای معترض زنان و استثنائات موجود در متن موجود امکان نفی پیرنگ‌ مسلط هجوآمیز را فراهم می‌سازد.

the post-colonial reading of the travelogue people and rituals in iran by madame carla serena (study case: rasht city)

the present study seeks to analyze the nature of travelogues as a kind of knowledge related to the east. the issue is whether this knowledge of travelogue writing has objectivity or does it carry the systematic prejudices of the orientalist discourse? discovering dualities and analyzing the hierarchies governing them is the main problem of the present research. considering the qualitative nature of the research, post colonial literature is used not as a theoretical framework but for the theoretical interpretation of reading the text. the research method is deconstruction, which is based on david boje’s eight point classification. the socio statistical book of the travel book of people and rituals in iran by madame karlaserna and the sample of the research is chapter 53 of the book (narrative from the city of rasht), which was selected in a purposeful way. the results of the research indicate the existence of dual oppositions between east and west in the studied sample and the hierarchy governing them based on the general rule of superiority of the west and inferiority of the east. however, the women’s protesting voice and the exceptions in the existing text make it possible to negate the satirical dominant stereotype.
