ارزیابی معنویت مدرن در معنا بخشی زندگی انسان

مدرنیته که بیانگر تازگی، گسست از گذشته و ورد به آینده‌ای در حال ظهور است، بر تمامی جنبه‌های زندگی از جمله دین تاثیرگذار بوده است و در تضاد با نقش ادیان الهی از جمله نقش مهمی که اینگونه ادیان در معنا بخشیدن به زندگی دارند قرار گرفته و به دنبال معنا و هدف جدیدی از زندگی است. به همین جهت در پژوهش حاضر با بررسی نقش معنویت مدرن در معنای زندگی به دنبال پاسخ به این سوال است که معنویت مدرن چگونه به زندگی معنا داده و دارای چه نقاط قوت و ضعفی است؟روش پژوش توصیفی تحلیلی و جمع‌آوری اطلاعات با استفاده از منابع کتابخانه صورت گرفته است. نتایج تحقیق بیانگر آن بوده است که معنویت مدرن نیز زندگی انسان را دارای معنا و هدف می‌داند و با داشتن امتیازاتی مانند تاکید بر عقلانیت مدرن، ملاحظه شرایط انسان مدرن، دغدغه‌های کاهش و درد انسان مدرن... در وهله اول جهت ایجاد معنای زندگی جذاب، معقول و کارآمد به نظر می رسد؛ ولی از آن‌جایی که معنویت مدرن انسان‌محور است و تنها از عقلانیت خود بنیاد برای شناخت معنویت استفاده می‌کند، این تصویر اولیه از معنویت مدرن از بین می رود؛ بنابراین معنویت مدرن در بحث معنای زندگی به حداقل ها اکتفا کرده است و بیشتر رویکردی پراگماتیستی دارد که نوعاً روشی تسکینی و تخدیری برای انسان می باشد.
