تاثیر موقعیت جغرافیایی تبریز بر اقتصاد شهر در عصر ایلخانان

موقعیت جغرافیایی و تاثیر آن بر اقتصاد در شناخت تاریخ شهر از اهمیت ویژه‌ای برخوردار است. هجوم مغولان به ایران تحولات مهمی در عرصه انحطاط و رشد شهر به وجود آورد. در این میان شهر تبریز با توجه به موقعیت جغرافیایی و اهمیت اقتصادی آن در عصر ایلخانان، از اهمیتی ممتازی بهره‌مند می‌شود. این پژوهش با هدف بررسی علل تاثیرگذاری موقعیت جغرافیایی در رشد و رونق تبریز، با تاکید بر برآیند اقتصادی آن، در دوره ایلخانی صورت گرفته است. روش این پژوهش تبیین و تفسیر وقایع با تکیه‌ بر تاثیر موقعیت جغرافیایی بر ساختار اقتصادی تبریز آن عصر است. حاصل آن که تبریز از دیرباز به لحاظ موقعیت و شرایط جغرافیایی مناسب، از رشد و رونق نسبی شهری برخوردار بوده، اما بعد از سقوط بغداد در 656 ق مورد اقبال بیشتری قرار گرفت که در نهایت نیز با پایتخت شدن آن در دوره ایلخانی به یکی از مهم‌ترین شهرهای ایران و مرکز تجاری تبدیل گشت. بالاتر از همه، بغداد به‌سرعت از یک مرکز خلافت به یک شهر کوچک ایالتی تنزل پیدا کرد.

The Effect of Tabriz Geographical Location on the City Economy in the Ilkhanid Era

The geographical location and its impact on the economy is particularly important in understanding the history of a city. The Mongol invasion of Iran brought about major changes in the decadence and growth of the city. Tabriz city, due to its geographical location and its economic importance in the Ilkhanid era, enjoyed a special importance. The purpose of this study was to investigate the reasons for the importance of the geographical location of Tabriz in its growth and prosperity, with an emphasis on its economic resultant during the Ilkhanid period. The method of this research is to explain and interpret events based on the influence of the geographical location on the economic structure of Tabriz in that era. Tabriz has enjoyed relative urban growth and prosperity for a long time, but after the fall of Baghdad in 656 (AH) it was more favored. After becoming the capital, Tabriz turned to one of the most important cities and commercial centers of Iran during the Ilkhanid era. Above all, Baghdad was quickly downgraded from a caliphate center to a small staterun city.
