واکاوی زمینه‌های اجتماعی سیاسیِ رشد تکاپوهای علمی شیعیان در دوره سلجوقیان

سده های پنجم و ششم هجری دوره‌ ای درخشان در رشد علمی جوامع اسلامی بود و دانشمندان شیعه نیز در این روند مشارکت داشتند. نخبگان شیعی، براساس چارچوب های فقهی خود و اتخاذ سیاست میانه‌روی در مراتب مختلف حکومت حضور یافته، اقدامات مهمی را در حوزه های دانش (آموزش، تربیت شاگردان، تالیف کتب) و رشد نهادهای مربوط (تاسیس مدارس) و ترویج مذهب شیعی به ثمر رساندند. در نتیجه این فعالیت‌ها بالندگی مذهب شیعه‌ امامی در این دوره رقم خورد. در این مقاله زمینه های اجتماعی سیاسی رشد تکاپوهای علمی شیعیان در دوره سلجوقیان مورد بررسی قرار گرفته تا به این سوال پاسخ داده شود که با وجود سیاست دینی سلجوقیان در جانبداری از مذهب اهل سنت، چگونه تکاپوهای علمی عالمان شیعی افزایش یافت؟ بر اساس داده‌های موجود، این فرض مطرح می شود که بروز مباحث جدید و لزوم مواجهه با برخی چالش‌های درون دینی و برون دینی و نیز بروز برخی علایم بحران در نظام اندیشه‌ای جامعه اسلامی در آن دوره، زمینه‌ساز انگیزه و تحرک شیعیان برای حرکت و تلاش علمی گردید.

An examination of the Social and Political Contexts of the Growth of Shiite Scientific Endeavors in the Seljuk Era

The fifth and sixth centuries (AH) were brilliant periods in the scientific development of the Islamic societies. Shiite scholars also participated in this process. Shiite elites, based on their jurisprudential frameworks and adopting moderation policy, have played roles in various levels of the government. They have taken important steps in the fields of knowledge (education, educating students, and compilation of books), the development of the related institutions (establishing schools) and promoting Shiite religion. As a result of these activities, the rise of the Shiite religion began during this period. This article examines the social and political contexts of the growth of Shi'ites' scientific endeavors in the Seljuk era to answer the question of how the Shi'ite scholars' scientific endeavors increased despite the Seljuks' religious policy in favor of the Sunni sect. Based on the available data, it is assumed that the emergence of the new issues and the need to face some intrareligious and interreligious challenges, as well as some signs of crisis in the thinking system of the Islamic community at the time, underpinned the Shiites' motivation for their scientific endeavors.
