Form of communication in addressing the leadership role of non-governmental organisations (NGOS) film [Bentuk komunikasi dalam menangani peranan kepimpinan badan bukan kerajaan (NGO) perfileman]

This paper aims to identify and evaluate communication forms,particularly open and top-down communication between leaders and subordinates of malaysian filming association members. the study focuses on the category of information role,which includes the information disseminator. the research methodology includes observation on social networks (particularly the internet),in depth interviews and survey. using the simple random sampling technique,the survey collected responses from 110 active members of five film associations,namely the artists association of malaysia (artist),malaysian film producers association (pfm),association of malaysian films’ employees (ppfm),screen writers’ association malaysia (swam),and the film directors’ association of malaysia (fdam). results indicated the existence of appropriate forms of top-down and open communication used by the leaders as managers in the non-governmental organizations (ngos) studied. © 2015,jurnal komunikasi malaysian journal of communication. all right reserved.
