Objectives: the present study has been carried out to investigate the effects of group narrative therapy at enhancing self-esteem and self-efficacy of 20 iranian orphan adolescent boys (13-18 years of age).method: participants were randomly assigned to an experimental or a control group. a 10-week group therapy was performed. outcome measures included the rosenberg self-esteem inventory and the scherer self-efficacy scale questionnaires. results: results of an analysis of covariance revealed that narrative therapy has led to significant increase in the self-esteem and self-efficacy of participants.
