Travel Medicine as an Important Aspect of Global Health; Much Still Need to Be Done!

Nowadays, traveling to different countries andeven different cities is an avoidable necessity ofmodern life and socioeconomic development. althoughtechnological advancements have madetravel easer, many difficulties and disorders appearthemselves more and more. in medical fields, manyregional diseases, particularly infectious diseases,can be easier transmitted and this make release ofepidemic outbreaks more frequents. on the otherhand, many non-infectious diseases such as motionsickness and etc occur during traveling. therefore,regards to medical disorders in travel have becomeprominent since some past decades. [1]notwithstanding, the importance of these disordersis undeniable and medical researcher shouldraise more specific research projects in this area.“how to protect against infection, prevention ofdiseases and medical care after returning from atrip?” is a serious question of studies focused ontravel medicine. when you search topics of travelmedicine and global health in valid database suchas pubmed, you can find that the trend of numberof publications in this field is incredibly increasingduring the last three decades, (figure-1) but thereare very few special journals in this field.
