ANALISIS TUJUAN PENGELOLAAN DAN KEBUTUHAN DALAM PENGEMBANGAN DANAU SENTANI JAYAPURA

The sentani lake is located in jayapura regency which at covered east sentani, sentani, and west sentani districts. other area is located in jayapura city. sentani lake covers an area of 9,630 ha with 52 m deep and 72 m in mean surface level. some problems which have been identified on sentani lake were erosion, domestic waste and industrial waste which were due to cu and zn concentrations in these lake higher than standard of water quality. the strategy developed consisted of management and institution responsibilities, and lake institution was needed for the lake sustainability. analysis methods were use by ism (interpretative structural modeling) with institution fellowships. the goal was lake management and management model program can be used as inputs for the management. the result of this research showed that according to expert judgment, the institution elements response to develop management model of sentani lake were marine and fishing institutions, housing institutions, local leaders and local institutions, environmental institutions, landscape institutions, universities, as well as tourism institutions. those elements were the fourth level. the fourth elements level became the main driver power and brought impacts on the next sub-elements. co-institution management was proposed on this research.
