چکیده
|
A study of the external background radiation in offa industrial area of kwara state is hereby reported. an in-situ measurement using two digilert radiation monitors at five different stations were carried out. a mean exposure rate of 0.0132mr/hr, which represents 20% elevation from the standard background radiation, was obtained. this suggests the possibility of the presence of radionuclide sources in the offa environment.
