نسبت علم اجتماعی و فلسفه،‌ جدال یا هم‌زیستی

هدف از این نوشتار، تحلیل نظری نسبت علم اجتماعی و فلسفه است؛ بدین منظور سعی گردیده ضمن بررسی آرای گوناگون و نقد و بررسی آن‌ها، دیدگاهی تلفیقی در تبیین نسبت این دو معرفت بشری ارائه گردد. براساس بررسی‌های انجام‌گرفته، این نتیجه حاصل گردیده که بین علم و فلسفه به‌طور عام در اعصار سه‌گانه‌ی تاریخی مورد بررسی به‌جای جدال، نوعی هم‌زیستی و هم‌گرایی وجود داشته است. در حوزه‌ی علم اجتماعی نیز علی‌رغم فراز و فرودهایی که درنسبت علم اجتماعی با فلسفه اتفاق افتاده، هم‌زیستی بین این دو حکم‌فرما بوده است. علم اجتماعی ناگزیر است که به متافیزیک و اپیستمولوژی که هر دو ساحت‌هایی از فلسفه هستند، نیازمند باشد. این هم‌بودگی به آن‌جا کشیده شده تا برخی مدعی شوند علم اجتماعی نه‌تنها فلسفه‌زاد و فلسفه‌زی است، بلکه با حوزه‌هایی از قبیل ادبیات و هنر در دهه‌های پایانی قرن بیستم ارتباط تنگاتنگی برقرار کرده است.

Social Science and Philosophy: Confrontation or Coexistence

The purpose of this paper is to provide a theoretical analysis of the relationship between philosophy and social science. It is attempted to study, criticize, and synthesize different ideas and theories regarding the mentioned relationship.The writer concludes that, instead of any confrontation there has been a coexistence and connection between science and philosophy. This holds true concerning the relationship between social science and philosophy.  Unlike all ups and downs in their relationship social science needs metaphysics and epistemology. This goes on the extend that some claim that social science both gives birth to philosophy and is born by philosophy. Furthermore, social science is in close relationship with such as literature and arts in the late decades of the twentieth century
