بررسی اشتغال زنان در رمان عباد ‌‌الشمس سحر خلیفه (بر اساس نظریه‌ توانمندسازی زنان)

سحر خلیفه رمان نویس مشهور فلسطینی است که شهرتش بیشتر به طرح مسائل زنان و دفاع از حقوق ایشان بازمی‌گردد. از آنجا که زنان محور اصلی بیشتر رمان‌های او را تشکیل می‌دهند، گرایش‌های فمینیستی نویسنده از جمله موضوعاتی است که مورد توجه بسیاری از ناقدان قرار گرفته است. یکی از نظریاتی که بر مبنای تالیفات فمینیست‌‌ها شکل گرفته و در آثار سحر خلیفه نیز نمود دارد، نظریه‌ توانمندسازی زنان است. اشتغال زنان و استقلال اقتصادی که بن‌مایه‌ اصلی رمان عبادالشمس سحر خلیفه را تشکیل می‌دهد، یکی از ابزارهای مهم توانمندسازی است. در این مقاله تلاش شده اشتغال زنان در رمان عباد‌الشمس بر اساس نظریه‌ توانمندسازی و به روش توصیفیتحلیلی مورد واکاوی قرار گیرد. دستاورد پژوهش بیانگر آن است که سحر خلیفه از دیدگا‌ه‌های نظریه‌پردازان حوزه‌ توانمندسازی تاثیر پذیرفته و سعی کرده زنان جامعه‌ خود را به امکاناتی همچون آموزش و شغل مناسب که از آن محروم بوده یا نسبت به مردان دسترسی کمتری به آن دارند آگاه کند. نویسنده به عنصر عاملیت زنان، بسیار پایبند است و تلاش می‌کند با خلق قهرمان‌های زنی که در مقابل قوانین تبعیض آمیز جامعه ایستاده‌اند، زنان فلسطینی را به افزایش مشارکت در فعالیت‌های اجتماعی و اقتصادی تشویق کند. خلیفه با ترسیم دستاوردهایی همچون عزت نفس، خودکفایی، ارتقای سطح زندگی و... برای قهرمان‌های زن، بر آن است که زنان سرزمین خود را از عناصری منفعل به بازیگرانی مستقل و توانمند تبدیل کند.

Evaluation of Women’s Employment in Sahar Khalifeh’s Novel “Abad Al-Shams” Based on the Women’s Empowerment theory

Sahar Khalifeh is a wellknown Palestinian novelist whose reputation is mostly for propounding issues related to women and defending their rights. Since women are in the focus of most of her novels, the author’s feminist tendencies and topics have attracted many critics. One of the theories that form the basis of the feminist writings of Sahar Khalifeh is the theory of women’s empowerment. The employment of women and their economic independence are considered in the novel as the important tools for empowerment. This paper attempts to analyze the employment of women in the novel of Abad AlShams based on the theory of empowerment through a descriptiveanalytical method. The research findings indicate that Sahar Khalifeh is influenced by the theories in the empowerment field. The poetess seeks to inform women in her community of opportunities such as education and appropriate employment, which they are deprived of or have less access to in comparison to men. The writer is vastly bound to the potentiality of women and is very committed to trying to encourage Palestinian women to increase their participation in social and economic activities by creating heroines who can stand against the discriminatory laws in the society. Also, by referring to such virtues as selfesteem, selfsufficiency and promoting standards of life for heroines, Khalifeh seeks to convert women from passive elements into independent capable agents.
