چکیده    Changing the cant of maxillary occlusal plane in patients with facial asymmetry is difficult to achieve orthodontically without orthognathic surgery. lefort i osteotomy with asymmetric maxillary impaction is often used to correct this problem. however, canting caused by extruded teeth can now be corrected with conventional orthodontic appliances and temporary anchorage device (tad). a 15-year-old patient with facial asymmetry, unilateral crossbite and cant of occlusal plane was treated nonsurgically with this procedure using miniscrews. the correction occured through intrusion of the extruded teeth on one side of the maxilla, thereby avoiding a more aggressive surgical approach.
