رهیافت سلبی صفات خدا از دیدگاه ابن‌سینا و توماس آکویینی

رهیافت سلبی برای سخن گفتن از اوصاف الهی از دیرباز مطرح بوده است و به دو دستۀ کلی سلب و سکوت و طریق سلبی ـ ایجابی تقسیم میشود. طریق سلبی ـ ایجابی، تفاسیر و معانی مختلفی دارد. برخی از این معانی با بیانناپذیری خداوند تضاد دارد و برخی تضاد ندارد. برخی دیگر با سکوت موافق و همراه نیست و رویکرد ایجابی دربارۀ خدا دارد. طریق سلبی ـ ایجابی نزد ابن‌سینا چه معنایی دارد؟ رابطه این طریق نزد ابن‌سینا با بیانناپذیری خداوند چیست؟ هدف او از به‌کار بردن این طریق در بیان صفات الهی چه بوده است؟ در این نوشتار، ضمن بررسی معانی مختلف طریق سلبی ـ ایجابی نزد ابن‌سینا و توماس آکویینی، دربارۀ موضع کلی ابن‌سینا (بازگشت همۀ صفات الهی به سلب و اضافه) هنگام تحلیل و ارزیابی تطبیقی اندیشۀ توماس صحبت می‌کنیم.

Avicenna and Aquinas on the Negative Approach to the Attributes of God

Negative approach to speaking of divine attributes is an ageold discussion and has two main categories: the negation and silence and the negativepositive way. The negativepositive way has various interpretations and meanings. Some of them are in conflict with inexpressibility of the God, and others are not. Some of them are not in agreement with silence and have a positive approach about God. What is the meaning of negativepositive approach for Avicenna? What is the relation between this way and the inexpressibility of God for Avicenna? What is his purpose in using this way for expressing the divine attributes? In the present paper, after reviewing different meanings of negativepositive way for Avicenna and Aquinas, we will discuss Avicenna’s overall position (returning of all divine attributes to negation and relation) alongside the comparative analysis of Aquinas views.
