کاربست نظریه‌ی «چندمعنایی» در تفسیر عرفانی «عین الاعیان»

نظریه‌ی چندمعنایی در تفسیر قرآن به رویکردی تفسیری ‌ ‌عرفانی نظر دارد که ریشه در تاویل‌پذیری قرآن داشته و مطابق با آن کلمات و تعابیر قرآنی حاوی معانی گوناگونی است و هر کدام از این معانی در جای خود معتبر است و نمی‌توان یکی را بر دیگری ترجیح داد. اما آیا پذیرش چندمعنایی خود مانعی در برابر تفسیر قرآن نیست؟ چگونه می‌توان میان اقوال متغایر مفسرین جمع کرد؟ آیا جمع میان این اقوال که ریشه در تکثرگرائی عرفانی دارد نتیجه‌ا‌ی تفسیری نیز به همراه خواهد داشت؟ تفسیر عین الاعیان نوشتۀ‌ شمس‌الدین محمد فناری که به تفسیر سوره حمد اختصاص دارد، نمونه و الگوی مناسبی است که کیفیت به کارگیری چندمعنایی در تفسیر قرآن و نیز نتایج آن را به روشنی نشان می‌دهد. فناری در تفسیر کلمات «الحمد»، «رب العالمین»، «یوم الدین» و نیز در بیان تفاوت دو صفت الهی «الرحمن» و «الرحیم»، اقوال گوناگون مفسران را نقل کرده تلاش می‌کند به معنایی گسترده از آیات دست‌یابد تا نشان ‌دهد قرآن کریم دریایی بی‌کران از معانی است. کاربست چندمعنایی در تفسیر عین الاعیان گویای آن است که این رویکرد می‌تواند لایه‌هایی از معانی قرآن را بازگو کند که در رویکرد تک معنایی، مغفول می‌ماند.
