transcendental felicity from the perspective of ayatullah jaw?d? amul?ri?? lakz??? abstract:felicity is one of the main obsessions and aspirations of humanity and since time immemorial man has been in pursuit of its reality and the method of attaining it. it seems that divine felicity can be understood from at least three different perspectives. the first is from an semantic point of view; the second, from an ontological one—i.e., investigating the reality of felicity, ascertaining whether it pertains to man’s inherent nature or his free will, and examining the influential factors that help in its attainment; the third perspective is through epistemology—it is to investigate the method through which man becomes aware of his own felicity, the ways of guarding it, the knowledge that man’s intellect cannot guarantee the attainment of felicity, and the role of felicity in epistemology. using a descriptive-analytical methodology, this article delves into these three issues from the perspective of ayatullah jaw?d? amul?.keywords: ayatullah jaw?d? amul?, semantic felicity, ontological felicity, epistemological felicity.
