Abstract
legal religions determine the limits, powers, and duties of believers in the form of a set of laws. religions have sharia law , define the limits, rights, and duties of their followers within a framework of laws. jurisprudence is a science responsible for identifying and expressing these laws, and jurisprudence sources are a group of texts, documents, and references that are used to extract, compile, and interpret these laws. since behaviors in a religious community are regulated based on them and religious people consider themselves obligated to observe the rulings derived from them, sources of jurisprudence play a fundamental role in determining the frameworks and rules of religious behaviors. now, given that religious judaism has an extensive sharia and has defined numerous frameworks in broad areas of jewish life, we must see what the jurisprudential sources of this religion are and what status and credibility each one has? using a descriptive-analytical method, this article answers this question and, by examining the written sources of jewish jurisprudence, concludes that the bible is the primary source of jewish law and the talmud is the second source after the bible; the baritas are supplementary sources, and the commentaries and canons are considered interpretative and operational sources of jewish jurisprudence. these sources likewise have a level of religious credibility and together help to deduce jewish laws.
