چکیده    The aim of this paper is to investigate the hyers-ulam stability of the linear differential equationy(x) + αy'(x) + βy(x) = f (x) in general case, wherey ∈ c^2[a, b], f ∈ c[a, b] and −∞ < a < b < +∞the result of this paperimproves a result of li and shen [hyers-ulam stability of linear di erential equations of second order, appl. math. lett. 23 (2010) 306{309].
