بررسی نقش ویژگیهای شخصیتی و بهزیستی روانشناختی مادران در اضطراب و افسردگی دختران دوره ابتدایی

هدف این پژوهش پیش‌بینی اضطراب و افسردگی دانش‌آموزان دختر مقطع ابتدایی بر اساس ویژگیهای شخصیتی و بهزیستی روان شناختی مادران آنها بود. جامعۀ آماری شامل دانش آموزان پایه ششم دوره ابتدایی شهرستان بابل بود که در آن 240 دانش آموز به روش نمونه گیری چند مرحله ای انتخاب شدند. دانش آموزان دو پرسشنامۀ افسردگی کودکانِ کواکس و مقیاس بازنگری شده اضطراب آشکار کودکانِ رینولدز و ریچموند را تکمیل کردند. مقیاس بهزیستی روانشناختی ریف و پرسشنامه شخصیتی پنج عاملی نیز توسط مادران آنان تکمیل شد. به منظور تجزیه و تحلیل دادهها از رگرسیون چندگانه با رویکرد سلسله مراتبی استفاده شد. نتایج نشان داد که بهزیستی روانشناختی مادران می تواند به صورت منفی و معنادار افسردگی و اضطراب فرزندان را پیش بینی کند. هم‌چنین از بین صفات شخصیتی مادر، روان رنجورخویی به صورت مثبت توانست افسردگی و اضطراب فرزندان را پیش بینی کند و گشودگی در برابر تجربه و برونگرایی نیز توانست افسردگی را به صورت منفی پیش‌بینی کند. نتایج نشان داد که صفات شخصیتی مادران و بهزیستی روانشناختی آنان در پیش بینی افسردگی و اضطراب دختران آنان نقش تعیین کننده ای دارد.

A Study of the Role of Mothers’ Personality Traits and Psychological WellBeing in Predicting the Anxiety and Depression of Elementary School Girls

The present research work is aimed at predicting the anxiety and depression of elementary school girls based on their mothers’ personality traits and psychological wellbeing. The statistical population included the sixth grade elementary school girls in Babol, Iran. A sample of 240 students was selected using the multistage cluster sampling method. The students completed the Maria Covax Children’s Depression Questionnaire and Reynolds and Richmond Children's Explicit Anxiety Scale (RCMAS). Their mothers were administered the Reef Psychological WellBeing Questionnaire (long form) and the Five Factor Personality Inventory. The multiple regression test with a hierarchical approach was used to analyze the data. The results revealed that mothers’ psychological wellbeing can negatively and significantly predict children's anxiety and depression. In addition, among mothers’ personality traits, neuroticism positively predicted children’s depression and anxiety, and openness to experience and extraversion could negatively predict children's depression. The results showed that mothers' personality traits and psychological wellbeing are important predictors of their children’s depression and anxiety.
