Purpose: this e goal of this research is to investigates native management in public libraries of the markazi province. management roles are investigated in three main parameters and ten sub- parameters that are based on main roles. the main ones parameters inclulde are: communication, information, and decision making roles in the sub goals research.methodology: the research study adopted an method is analylitical survey. data are were gathered with using a self-developed created questionnaire with the . the reliability of the questionnaire was calculated 93% and are validated with content – based method. statistical society of researchthe study population includeds all the librarians of markazi state public librarians. ,110 librarians person formed the sample of the study using morgan – table, of which answerd and 106 librarians completed the questionnaires were returned the sample was chosen by morgan – table. the data was analysed spss software was used, in two levels of descriptive and on and sstatistical inferential like,(i.e.g frequency, frequency percentage and variance), using spss software were used.findings: the result s showedrevead, that the communication and information roles are not practiced by the public librarians in this study. findings showed that about that communication roles “aattending in associates ‘relatives’ death funeral ceremonies “has the highest averagewith mean of (3./59), and “holding other ceremonies for associates ‘relatives’ and their families with “has the lowest average mean of( 1./86) received respectively the highest and lowest mean in the communication roles. this us, we can sayimplies that from the librarian view point, communication roles are not used practiced by in the targetthe public librarians. in the information roles, , “evaluating assessment the sent information with the mean of “with the average of 3./05 is the highest and “iintroducing the native culture to customers ” with the mean of . )with the average of 2./24 received the highest and lowest means respectively( is the lowest among information role parameters, like communication roles, information roles are not used and applied in the target libraries, from the librarians point of view. in the case of decision making role parameter, “negotiations ended in with the benefit of the library” with the mean of ( with the average of 3./11) and “praising awarding local issues suggestions given on the local issues with the mean of ”( with the average of 2 received the highest and lowest mean respectively).originality/value: there is a lack of attention towardn native management is an area which has received little attention in the lis research. this study introduces this area in libraries. , therefore doing such a research can open attention to this subject. to the subject of native management is one of the important issues that the lack of researches in this field shows little attention to this subject; therefore present research can be important.
