خلاقیت استعاری در داستان ‌های کوتاه زکریا تامر (مورد کاوی دو مجموعه داستان کوتاه صهیل الجواد الابیض و دمشق الحرائق)

زبان ‏شناسان‏ شناختی منکر خلاقیت استعاری شاعران و نویسندگان نیستند. براساس نظریۀ «شعرشناسی شناختی» لیکاف و ترنر (1989) شاعران و نویسندگان در آثارشان اغلب از همان استعاره‏های مفهومی معمولی در زبان عادی و روزمره استفاده می‏کنند و خلاقیت شاعرانه نتیجۀ به‌کارگیری و تغییر استادانۀ همین استعاره‏های مفهومی روزمره در اثر بهره‌گیری از چهار ابزار مفهومی: گسترش، پیچیده‏سازی، پرسش و ترکیب است. هدف اصلی از این پژوهش معرفی این شگردها و بررسی قابلیت کاربرد آن‌ها در تحلیل شناختی پاره‏ای از استعاره‏های نو در دو مجموعه از داستان‏های کوتاه زکریا تامر (1931) نویسندۀ مشهور و معاصر سوری است. تحلیل داده‏‏ها نشان می‌دهد تامر در داستان‏هایش از همان استعاره‏های مفهومی روزمره استفاده کرده است. بنابراین، خلاقیت این نویسنده می‌تواند نتیجۀ بهره ‏گرفتن از ابزارهای نامبرده در کاربرد استادانۀ استعاره‏های معمولی باشد. برپایۀ تحلیل داده‏ها، تامر در آفرینش استعاره‏های بررسی‌شده، بیشتر از ابزار ترکیب و کم‌تر از ابزار پرسش بهره برده و از ابزارهای گسترش و پیچیده‌سازی به‌طور متوسط استفاده کرده است. نتایج به‌دست‌آمده همچنین نشان می‏دهد تامر با بهره‌گیری هوشمندانه از استعاره علاوه بر ایجاد ظرافت و زیبایی در بیان، مفاهیم و  پیام داستان‏هایش را به خواننده انتقال می‏دهد.

cognitive linguists do not negate the metaphorical creativity inherent in the works of poets and writers. according to the ‘cognitive poetics’ theory proposed by lakoff and turner (1989), poets and writers frequently employ the same conventional conceptualmetaphors in their compositions that are prevalent in everyday language. the creativeaspect of poetry emerges from the adept manipulation and modification of thesecommonplace conceptual metaphors, achieved through the application of fourconceptual tools: expansion, complication, questioning, and combination. the primaryobjective of this research is to introduce these strategies and assess their applicability inconducting a cognitive analysis of certain novel metaphors found in two collections ofshort stories authored by zakaria tamer (1931), a distinguished contemporary syrianwriter. the analysis of the data indicates that tamer has utilized the same everydayconceptual metaphors in his narratives. consequently, the creativity exhibited by thisauthor could potentially be attributed to the proficient application of the aforementionedtools in the usage of ordinary metaphors. based on the data analysis, it is observed thattamer, in the creation of the metaphors examined, has predominantly employed the toolof combination, sparingly used the tool of questioning, and has made moderate use of thetools of expansion and complication. the findings also suggest that tamer, through hisjudicious use of metaphor, not only imparts elegance and beauty to his prose but alsoeffectively communicates the underlying concepts and messages of his stories to thereader.
