Abstract    he western regions of iran as well as its northwest have been a place for various groups with different tendencies to work and act for many years due to different conditions, including socio-political conditions and under the protection of different countries, including iraqi kurdistan which has been a place f that has endangered the security of the kurdish regions of iran. the pjak group is one of the anti-regime groups that emerged inthe early 2000s in the kurdish regions of iran under various pretexts, including the formation of a united kurdistan, the liberation of their activities for the interests of the nature, identity, and interests of the kurdish people. due to the special importance and necessity of this category, the present study has addressed this issue with the aim of revealing the central government failures and strategic challenges of the governmenttowards kurdish identity by looking at the activities of pjak group using library studies in an analytical-descriptive manner. the results show that after the victory of the islamic revolution, the enemies of iran, including western countries, especially the united states, have always tried to challenge the system and confront the crisis through opposition and insurgent groups. in this regard, by exploiting and influencing these groups, colonialgovernments pursue goals that lead to insecurity in border areas - creating ethnic divisions and divergence. the support of the colonial regimes, especially the united states, for pjak and other groups to counter iran's power in the region is one of the reasons that can be deduced after the introduction of greater middle east plan. in this greater middle east plan, the factor of nationality and ethnicity is considered as a means to reach the goals ofthe plan, in which most regional conflicts are based on the component of ethnicity and utilitarian management of ethnic conflicts.
