بررسی انتقادی نظریة سیستم‌ها و تغییر پارادایم در جامعه‌شناسی

نظریۀ سیستمی نیکلاس لومان، درمقام یک تئوری اجتماعى، چشم‌انداز مناسبی برای شناخت نظام‌ اجتماعی و جهان‌ مدرن به‌وجود آورده است. نظریۀ سیستم‌ها و تغییر پارادایم در جامعه‌شناسی، تدوین و ترجمۀ علی اردستانی، اثری حائز اهمیت درخصوص اندیشه‌های لومان و عناصر اندیشگی اوست. این اثر پنج مقاله از نیکلاس لومان با عناوین «تغییر پارادایم در نظریۀ سیستم‌ها»، «نظریۀ سیستم‌های جدید و نظریۀ جامعه»، «مدرنیت علم»، «جهانی‌شدن یا جامعۀ جهانی: چگونه باید جامعۀ جهانی را درک کرد»، و «سخن و سکوت» و سه مقاله از دیگر نویسندگان با عناوین «چرا سیستم‌ها»، «میراث لومان»، و «بنیان‌های نظریۀ سیستم‌های اجتماعی» را در بر دارد. کتاب موردبحث ازیک‌سو، با تمرکز بر نظریۀ اجتماعی، نظریۀ ارتباطات، و نظریۀ تکامل به‌عنوان عناصر اصلی نظریۀ سیستمی و ازسوی‌دیگر، با قراردادن سیستم اجتماعی در ارتباط با محیط، اعم از جهان مدرن و جامعۀ جهانی، تبیینی قابل‌قبول از نظریۀ سیستم‌ها را ارائه کرده است. بااین‌حال، کتاب موردبحث خالی از ایراد نیست. ضعف پوشش مباحث و هم‌چنین ترجمه و معادل‌سازی‌های نامفهوم از جملۀ موارد قابل‌ذکر است. ازاین‌رو، در مقالۀ پیش‌ِرو، ضمن توضیح نظریۀ سیستم‌ها که محتوای اصلی کتاب را تشکیل می‌دهد، به نقد و بررسی آن در سه بخش صوری، محتوایی، و ترجمه پرداخته می‌شود.

a critical review on the book theory of systems and paradigm shift in sociology

nicholas luhmann’s systems theory as a social theory has created a good perspective for understanding the social system and the modern world. theory of systems and paradigm shift in sociology compiled and translated by ali ardestani is an important work about luhmann. this work contains five articles by nicholas luhmann entitled: changing paradigms in systems theory, new systems theory, society theory, modernity of science, globalization, or the global community: how to understand the global community, speech and silence, and three articles by other authors entitled why systems, heritage luhmann is the foundation of the social systems. by focusing on social theory, communication theory, and evolution theory as the main elements of system theory on the one hand and placing the social system in relation to the environment of both the modern world and the world community on the other hand, the work in question has provided an acceptable explanation of systems theory. however, the work in question is not without flaws; poor coverage of topics, as well as incomprehensible translations and equations, are notable. therefore, in the leading article, while explaining the theory of systems, which constitutes the main content of the book, it is reviewed in three parts: form, content, and translation.
