بررسی انتقادی کتاب فلسفۀ مشاء 1 (از ارسطو تا توماس آکوئینی)

فلسفه مشاء (1) (از ارسطو تا توماس آکوئینی) برای آشنایی نوآموزان رشته‌های فلسفه با مکتب مشاء تالیف شده است. مزیت اصلی این اثر توجه به هر دو شاخه غربی و اسلامی این مکتب است. مولف به‌طور کلی قصد دارد فلسفه مشاء را از دو جهت معرفی کند: تاریخی و محتوایی. باوجوداین‌که اثر مختصری است، اما این حجم اندک مانع نشده که مولف دامنه گسترده فلسفه مشاء را نادیده بگیرد. به همین دلیل، با ملاحظه آثار مشابه فعلاً بهترین کتاب درسی برای آشنایی با فلسفه مشاء در مقطع کارشناسی است. البته این سخن بدین معنا نیست که با متنی خالی از عیب و ایراد مواجهیم. برعکس، اشکالات و نواقص کتاب اندک‌شمار هم نیست. بنابراین، مجموع این عوامل مثبت و منفی مهم و برجسته باعث شده است تا نقد و بررسی تفصیلی آن ضرورت پیدا کند. در این مقاله، ضمن توجه به مزایای این اثر، انواع نقاط ضعف آن را برشمرده‌ایم. این اشکالات در چهار دسته جای می‌گیرند: ساختاری، محتوایی، ادبی، و ارجاعات. درنهایت راه‌کارهایی برای ارتقای کتاب و رفع نواقص آن به‌عنوان منبع درسی پیش‌نهاد شده است.

the book peripatetic philosophy (1) (from aristotle to thomas aquinas) is an introductory work for undergraduates in philosophy. the prominent merit of this work is taking into consideration of this important philosophical school. the main advantage of this book is regarding two big philosophical domains: western philosophy and islamic one. the compiler of the book is seeking to lay down the peripatetic school historically and substantially (especially in the ontology). in spite of its little content, the book includes all domains of peripatetic philosophy. therefore, it is now the best one for an introduction to this philosophical school in bachelor degree who study western or islamic philosophy in universities of our country. in this article, i mention the merits and also point to some deficiencies in it. problems are classified in four categories: structure, content, edition and reference. eventually, some mechanisms were proposed for the promotion and perfection of the book to become a better source.
