بررسی و نقد کتاب واژه‌نامۀ توصیفی فرهنگ‌نویسی

در این مقاله، واژه‌‌نامۀ توصیفی فرهنگ‌‌نویسی نوشتۀ فریبا قطره با رویکردی توصیفی  انتقادی موردنقد و بررسی قرار گرفته است. برای این منظور، هم جنبه‌‌های صوری و ساختاری کتاب از نظر رعایت اصول نگارش علمی موردتوجه قرار گرفته و هم محتوای کتاب از منظر چیستی و اهمیت مطالب مندرج در آن بررسی شده است. از این بابت که مولف توانسته است برای اولین‌بار در زبان فارسی، فرهنگ تخصصی واژگان حوزۀ فرهنگ‌نویسی را با استفاده از منابع معتبر گردآوری، معادل‌یابی، و توصیف کند، کار ارزش‌مند و درخور توجهی صورت گرفته است، اما درعین‌حال ایرادهایی نیز بر این کتاب وارد است. از نظر صوری به‌لحاظ شیوۀ نگارش، در استفاده از قلم و اندازۀ مناسب برای برخی زیرمدخل‌‌ها، ایرانیک‌کردن یا ایرانیک‌نکردن برخی واژه‌ها، ترتیب الفبایی، نظام ارجاع‌دهی، و در صفحه‌‌بندی ناهماهنگی‌هایی در کتاب دیده می‌شود. از نظر محتوایی هم کتاب ایرادهایی دارد که از میان آن‌ها می‌توان به نبود حدومرز دقیق در تعریف برخی مدخل‌ها، ارائۀ برخی تعاریف بسیار کوتاه و ناقص، فقدان برخی واژه‌‌های ضروری فرهنگ‌نویسی، ارجاع کور و گاهی اوقات گیج‌‌کننده برای کاربر، نبود جدول اعلام، نام‌ها، علائم آوایی و برخی کدهای دستوری موردنیاز، و هم‌چنین عدم ارائۀ مثال مناسب در برخی موارد ضروری اشاره کرد.

A Description and Evaluation of Descriptive Glossary of Lexicography

In this study, the “Descriptive Glossary of Lexicography” compiled by Fariba Ghatreh has been described and evaluated. To do so, on the one hand, the formal appearance of the book concerning the principles of scientific writing has been taken into account, and on the other hand, the content of the book regarding the whatness and the importance of the materials presented has been scrutinized. Concerning the view that the author has been successful in compiling the first “Descriptive Glossary of Lexicography” in Persian, it is extremely valuable, but at the same time, some shortcomings meet the eyes while looking deeply into the book. From the formal point of view, mechanics of writing, proper use of some fonts and sizes for entries and subentries, italicizing or nonitalicizing the entries, alphabetical order, reference system and layout of the pages, the book lacks some degree of inconsistency. From the content point of view, some faults are observed in the book, among which they can be referred to as the lack of crystal clear definitions for some entries, overlapping entries, the absence of some necessary terms in lexicography, some blind and confusing references and lack of examples and tables.
