کتاب المنهج النفسی فی النقد الحدیث؛ النقاد المصریون نموذجاً، نوشته موسى عبدالرحمن بسام قطوس، تلاشی است درجهت بررسی پیدایش یکی از شیوه‌های نقد ادبی نوین در مصر یعنی شیوه روان‌شناختی که به‌منزله یکی از شیوه‌های نقدی، چه در سطح نظری و چه در سطح تطبیقی، اهمیت خاصی دارد. این کتاب از آن دسته کتاب‌هایی است که به‌دلیل محتوای مناسب و مطالب مفید در زمینه نقد روان‌شناختی به‌منظور بررسی و نقد انتخاب شد. در این جستار کوتاه، برآن‌ایم که به‌روش توصیفی تحلیلی این اثر را ازلحاظ ظاهری و محتوایی بررسی کنیم و برجستگی‌ها و نارسایی‌های آن را یادآور شویم تا از ره‌گذر این نقد و بررسی، علاقه‌مندان حوزه نقد روان‌شناختی به‌نوعی با خلاهای این حوزه آشنا شوند و درجهت تقویت این رویکرد نقدی بیش از پیش بکوشند. درمجموع، با بررسی این کتاب به این نتیجه رسیدیم که کتاب در بیان مطالب نظری مربوط به نقد روان‌شناختی و ارائه کلیات لازم درباره انواع موضع‌گیری‌های ناقدان مصری دربرابر نقد روان‌شناختی و بررسی و نقد سه‌مرحله‌ای سه کتاب در زمینه نقد روان‌شناختی تاحدی موفق‌ بوده است، گرچه خالی از اشکال و نواقص نیست.

A Review of the Psychological Method in New Critique: ACase Study of Egyptian Criminals

The Psychological Method in New Critique: A Case Study of Egyptian Criminals written by Dr. Mosa Abdul Rahman Bassam Qattoos is an attempt to study the emergence of one of the most modern literary criticisms in Egypt, a psychological way of thinking that is of critical importance both to the theoretical and to the comparative level, as a method of psychology.  This book is one of the series of books selected for proper content and useful materials in the field of psychological critique for review and critique. In this short paper, we have examined the content of the article in a descriptiveanalytical manner and highlighted its strengths and deficiencies in order to reconsider this critique. The results of this critique can be useful for those psychoanalytic researchers to do their best to improve the quality of critiques. it. In sum, we came to the conclusion that the book was somewhat successful in terms of expressing the theoretical content of psychological critique and providing the necessary generalizations about the types of Egyptian critics’ stances against psychological critique and the threestage review and critique of three books on psychological critique, although it is not free of defects.
