عکاسی به‌مثابۀ عملی تئاتری تحلیل و بررسی کتاب صحنه‌آرایی در عکاسی

در این متن تلاش شده است، براساس ساختار تعیین‌شده، به تحلیل و تفسیر شکلی و محتوایی کتاب صحنه‌آرایی در عکاسی بپردازیم. روش این نوشتار توصیفی ‌ تحلیلی است و با مراجعه به فصول چهارگانۀ کتاب سعی می‌شود خاستگاه، اثرگذاری، فواید، و کاستی‌های کتاب بررسی شود. در مسیر تحلیل و تحقیق مشخص می‌شود که این کتاب به‌مناسبت برگزاریِ نمایشگاه عکسی در کشور کانادا منتشر شده است، و فصل‌های چهارگانۀ‌ کتاب هریک از منظری خاص به موضوع صحنه‌آرایی در عکاسی نگریسته‌اند. مواردی چند مانند نقش‌های سه‌گانۀ‌ بازیگر، روایت‌گر، و هنرمند برای عکاس، و عکاس به‌مثابۀ داستان‌پرداز، توضیحِ عکاسی زنده، و نمونه‌هایی از صحنه‌آرایی برای عکس‌های بسیار معروف در حوزۀ مستند اجتماعی درزمرۀ نوآوری‌های کتاب به‌حساب می‌آید. بااین‌وصف، تجمیع آرای گوناگون مطرح‌شده درقالب یک کتاب هم‌گون نیست، و بدون نتیجه‌گیری نهایی به‌پایان می‌رسد. کتاب به‌صورت مراجعۀ موردی و موضوعی به ابعاد سبکی و تاریخیِ عکاسی صحنه‌آرایی‌شده موفق عمل می‌کند، اما به‌تنهایی نمی‌تواند تمامی موارد تاریخی و سبکیِ این حوزه از عکاسی را نمایندگی کند. ترجمه، ویرایش، کیفیت چاپ، و صفحه‌آراییِ کتاب از وضعیت مطلوبی برخوردار است. در نبود منابع مناسب و کافی از این دست در جامعۀ فارسی‌زبان، این کتاب برای علاقه‌مندان و دانش‌جویان عکاسی مفید است.

Theatrical Photography Analysis and Critique of the book “Acting the Part: Photography as Theatre”

This essay has attempted to analyze and interpret the form and content determined by the structure of the book “Acting the Part: Photography as Theatre,” (translated to Farsi in 2014). It is a descriptiveanalytic study and by referring to four chapters of the book, it tries to deal with origin, effectiveness, benefits, and shortcomings of the book. In the course of analysis and research, it is revealed that the book was published on the occasion of a photo exhibition in Canada, and each of the four chapters of the book has a specific aspect to theatrical photography. Few occasions such as the triple roles of actor, narrator, and artist for the sake of the photographer, the photographer as a storyteller, the explanation of live photography and examples of wellknown photos in social documentary scope can be considered as book’s innovations. However, aggregation of diverse opinions expressed in the mold of a book is not homogeneous, and it ends without any final conclusion. The book acts successfully in casethematic study for stylistic and historical aspects of theatrical photography (Staged Photography), but cannot entirely represent all historical and stylistic aspects of this field of photography. Translation, editing, printing quality, and layout of the book are desirable. In the absence of adequate resources in Farsi, this book is useful for enthusiasts and students of photography.
