نقد و بررسی محتوای درسی زبان انگلیسی پایۀ دهم متوسطه در ایران

کتاب‌های درسی که در سطح ملی تدوین می‌شوند به‌علت طیف گستردۀ مخاطبان همواره از اهمیت بسیاری برخوردار بوده‌اند. بنابراین، بررسی کمّی و کیفی آن‌ها همیشه در اولویت کاری منتقدان بوده است. ازاین‌رو، در این مقاله نویسنده در پژوهشی انتقادی محتوای درسی تازه‌تالیف زبان انگلیسی پایۀ دهم متوسطه را مشتمل‌بر کتاب درسی، کتاب کار، و سی‌دی آموزشی نقد و بررسی کرده است. پس از بررسی تاریخ تحول محتواهای پیشین در ادوار گذشته، اثر حاضر ازمنظر مبانی نظری و ساختار کلی بررسی و تجزیه ‌و تحلیل شده است. سپس، باتوجه‌به مبانی و اصول رویکرد ارتباطی، محتوای اثر مورد نقد و بررسی قرار گرفت. بررسی و ارزیابی بخش‌های مختلف نشان داد اثر یادشده باتوجه‌به اهمیت و اثرگذاری آن در سطح ملی به بازنگری و اصلاح در ابعاد شکلی، ساختاری، و محتوایی نیاز دارد تا بتواند اهداف برنامۀ زبان‌آموزی را در برنامۀ درسی تامین کند.

A Critical Review of English Materials for Grade Ten in Iran

The materials which are produced to be used at national level are of great importance since they are supposed to feed a wide range of audience. Therefore, critical review of such materials is among the critics’ priorities. In this review article, the newlypublished English language materials for grade ten in Iran including the textbook, workbook, and CD will be analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. After reviewing the history of producing such materials in the previous periods, the current work was analyzed in terms of its structure and theoretical framework. Then, its content was analyzed via comparing its elements with those of the communicative approach as the mainstream framework in the realm of language teaching. The analyses indicated that, considering the wide range of audience, the current work is in urgent need of revision if it intends to meet the objectives of foreign language learning in the curriculum.
