امکان تفسیر واحد از دین نقد و بررسی کتاب تفسیری از دین: پاسخ‌های بشر به امر متعالی

کثرت‌گرایی دینی، به‌مثابۀ نظریه‌ای که با ارائۀ تفسیر بر مدار واقعیت محض (حقیقت محض) داعیۀ برقراری آشتی در موضوع تنوع ادیان را دارد، در چند دهۀ اخیر محل بحث بسیار قرار گرفته است. جان هیک، یکی از اصلی‌ترین نظریه‌پردازان این حوزه، بحث جامعی در این زمینه در کتاب تفسیری از دین ارائه کرده است. بحث جان هیک ازجهات مختلفی در این کتاب قابل‌بررسی است و نکات مثبت و منفی در آن قابل‌‌جست‌وجو و تحقیق است. این‌که اساساً بتوان ادیانی را که در فرهنگ‌ها و سنت‌های گاه متباعد از هم رشد و نمو داشته‌اند از‌طریق تفسیر بر یک محور قرار داد موضوعی است که هیک در تلاش بوده است آن را به‌نحو فلسفی در نظریۀ خود به‌نمایش بگذارد. با کنار هم قراردادن این نکات و بررسی سازگاری درونی و بیرونی نظریۀ کثرت‌گرایی با تمرکز بر این کتاب می‌توان کارآمدی آن را به‌محک آزمون سپرد و تحقیق کرد که آیا با مقدمات و شیوۀ استدلالی هیک می‌توان نتایج او را پذیرفت یا خیر؟

Book Criticism:The Possibility of Universal Interpretation of Religion: Man’s Responses to the Transcendence

In the recent decades, religious pluralism has been extensively discussed as a theory that claims to establish reconciliation between the religious diversities based on an interpretation of the absolute truth. John Hick, as one of the main theoreticians in this field, has presented a comprehensive discussion regarding this notion in his book: An Interpretation of Religion. Hick’s theory can be analyzed from different prospects in his book and it offers the opportunity to probe its both positive and negative aspects. Hick has attempted to express his theory philosophically through the interpretation of those religions emerged from divergent cultures and traditions in alignment. Besides, this theory can be assessed by the study of the exterior and the interior compatibility of the Pluralism theory by focusing on his book whether it is possible to accept the results of Hick’s theory based on his arguments and reasoning or not.
