معرفی، بررسی و نقد ترجمه انگلیسی پدیدارشناسی ادراک حسی

این مقاله می‌کوشد، با رویکردی انتقادی، تحلیلی از محتوای کتاب پدیدارشناسی ادراک حسی مرلوپونتی ارائه دهد. از‌این‌رو در مقدمه، بعد از طرح اهمیت این کتاب در شکل‌گیری اندیشه پدیدارشناختی در روزگار خود مرلوپونتی، به نقش آن در سیر بعدی پدیدارشناسی نیز اشاره خواهیم کرد. در بخش معرفی نویسندۀ اثر، موریس مرلوپونتی، به کاستی‌های پدیدارشناسی هوسرل از دید مرلوپونتی اشاره می‌کنیم. اما از‌آن‌جا‌که این مقاله هم‌چنین به ترجمۀ انگلیسی پدیدارشناسی ادراک حسی (در اصل به زبان فرانسه است) می‌پردازد، مترجم این کتاب یعنی کالین اسمیت (colin smith 19141990) نیز معرفی شده است. بخش اعظم این مقاله به تحلیل محتوایی این اثر، هم ازمنظر رویکرد انتقادی به روش مترجم در ترجمۀ این اثر و هم ازمنظر جایگاه مفهومی و تحلیلی خود این کتاب، اختصاص یافته است. در بخش‌های بعدی سعی کرده‌ایم بر مواردی نظیر نظم منطقی اثر، کفایت منابع، دقت در ارجاعات و استنادها، صورت، و نیز زبان اثر، که تا‌حد زیادی دشوار است، متمرکز شویم. درنهایت در بخش نتیجه‌گیری به اهمیت محوری این اثر برای رشته‌هایی چون فلسفه در مقاطع تحصیلات تکمیلی و حتی به نفوذ این کتاب در حوزه‌های هنر، پزشکی، و پرستاری اشاره خواهیم کرد.

Translation Criticism: Phenomenology of Perception by MerleauPonty

This article tries to analyze the content of the book Phenomenology of Perception by Merleauponty critically. Therefore, having considered the importance of this work in the formation of the concept of Phenomenology in the author’s own period, we regard the role of this book in the following trend of Phenomenology. In introducing the author of this work, Maurice Merleauponty, we point out to the disadvantages of Phenomenology by Husserl from the viewpoint of Merleauponty. This paper, also, studies the translation of this book in English (since the original work was in French); so, the translator of the work; i. e., Colin Smith (19141990), will be introduced. The major part of this article is dedicated to the Content Analysis of this work, critically review its translation, and criticize the conceptual analytical status of the book itself. In the proceeding sections, we focus on the chronological order of the book, the sufficiency of resources, accuracy in references and citations, the form, and the language of the work, which is to some extent difficult. At last, in the conclusion, we mention the central importance of this work for some majors such as Philosophy in the postgraduate degrees, and even its permeation into the fields of Art, Medicine, and Nursing.
