نقدی بر کتاب تحلیل سیاسی مدرن

رابرت دال، چنان‌که می‏دانیم، از آن دسته از دانشمندان علوم سیاسی است که رویکردی علم‌گرایانه به سیاست و دانش سیاسی دارد و درصدد است سیاست را به‌مثابۀ یک علم ارائه دهد. او در کتاب تحلیل سیاسی مدرن اصلی‏ترین مواضع خود را درباب مفهوم سیاست و چگونی تحلیل سیاسی شرح داده است. کتاب فوق، ازیک‏سو، در سنت قدرت‏محور سیاست جای دارد و ازسوی‌دیگر، مفهومی متفاوت یعنی «نفوذ» را جای‌گزین مفهوم قدرت می‏کند و مدعی است توانسته است روشی علمی را برای مطالعه و نگریستن به سیاست و هم‌چنین مدلی علمی برای سیاست عملی و سیاست‏ورزی ارائه دهد. در مقالۀ حاضر، ما با بررسی این کتاب نقاط قوت و ضعف آن را ارزیابی خواهیم کرد. این مقاله شامل چند نقد کلی ازجمله نقد به رویکرد علم‏گرایانۀ کتاب، تاکید بر نفوذ به‌مثابۀ مفهوم کانونی سیاست، چیستی تحلیل سیاسی مدرن، و تبعات حاصل از این منظر به سیاست است.

The Review and Critique of “Modern Political Analysis”

Robert Dahl, as we know, is one of the political scientists who has a scientific approach to politics and political science and seeks to present politics as a science. In his book "Modern Political Analysis", he outlines his main positions on the concept of politics and how to analyze politics. The book, on the one hand, belongs to the poweroriented tradition of politics and, on the other hand, replaces a different concept of "influence" with the concept of power, claiming to have provided a scientific method for studying and looking at politics as well as a scientific model for practical policy and policy making. In this article, we will review the strengths and weaknesses of this book. This article contains some general critiques, including a critique of the book’s scientist approach, its emphasis on influence as the main concept of politics, what modern political analysis is, and the consequences of this view of politics.
