نقدی بر کتاب باستان‌شناسی جوامع ایران باستان در هزاره سوم پ. م.

کتاب باستان‌شناسی جوامع ایران باستان در هزاره سوم پ. م. از کتب تخصصی مربوط به باستان‌شناسی هزاره سوم فلات ایران با نگاهی ویژه به حوزه جنوب شرقی ایران است. این کتاب را «انریکه اسکالونه» تالیف و «سیدمنصور سیدسجادی» ترجمه کرد و در انتشارات سمت با هدف تدریس یا مکملی برای درس باستان‌شناسی ایران در آغاز شهرنشینی منتشر شد. آن‌چه در مقدمه کتاب توسط نویسنده بدان اشاره ‌شده شامل: شناسایی قطب‌های فرهنگی فلات ایران در خلال هزاره سوم پ. م.، درجات دفع و جذب بین آن کانون‌ها، و سپس مطالعه زمینه‌های خاص مبادلاتی است که در این راستا تحلیل نظام‌های تجاری با مرکزیت شوش به‌عنوان یک واحد ایلامی هدف وی را تشکیل می‌دهد. در نوشتار حاضر تلاش می‌شود با درنظرگرفتن رویکرد مورداستفاده نویسنده، که از اعم رویکردهای تحلیلی باستان‌شناسی شهری محسوب می‌شود، کتاب فوق ازنظر شکلی و محتوایی، به‌ویژه جامعیت صوری، نظم منطقی و مبانی، موردبررسی و تحلیل قرار گرفته و نقاط قوت و ضعف آن تشریح شود. نتایج حاصل بیان‌گر نقاط قوت بسیاری ازنظر محتوایی و رعایت اصول تالیف یک اثر بی‌طرفانه است. ازطرفی نیز اثر فوق دارای نقاط ضعفی در ترجمه، ویراستاری و معادل‌سازی اصطلاحات تخصصی، و استفاده از منابع و مبانی باستان‌شناسی مناطق پیرامونی فلات ایران است.

A Critical Review of Archaeology and History of Third Millennium Iran

The book "Archeology of Ancient Iranian societies in the Third Millennium B.C” is one of the specialized books about the third millennium archeology of the Iranian plateau with a special look into the southeastern region of Iran. This book is written by "Enrico Ascalone", translated by "Seyed Mansour Seyed Sajadi" and published by the Organization for Researching and Composing University Textbooks in the Humanities with the aim of being lectured as the main or supplementary source for the course"Iranian Archaeology at the Beginning of Urbanization". What is mentioned in the introduction of the book by the author is the identification of the cultural poles of Iran’s plateau during the third millennium B.C, the degree of repulsion and attraction between those poles, and then the study of the special fields of trade. In this regard, the analysis of the business systems with Susa centralityas an Elamite unitwas his aim. The present paper tries to study and analyze the book in terms of its form and contentespecially formal comprehensiveness, logical order and principlesaccording to the author’s approach, which is of analytical approaches to urban archeology and finally its strengths and weaknesses are explained. The results indicate many merits in terms of content and respect for the authoring principles of an impartial work. On the other hand, the book has weaknesses in translation, editing and matching of specialized terminology, the use of archaeological resources, and archaeological fundamentals of the peripheral regions of Iranian Plateau.
