معرفی و تحلیل کتیبه‌های مسجد جامع قائن

مسجد جامع قاین یکی از مساجد مهم دوران تیموری در خراسان جنوبی است. این مسجد به‌صورت دو ایوانی و با عناصر مختلف معماری از جمله ایوان، حیاط، پایاب، شبستان و محراب ساخته شده است و در مجاورت بازار اصلی شهر و حوزه‌ی علمیه قرار دارد. بعضی از کارشناسان و پژوهشگران معتقدند که این مسجد -به سبک آذری- بر روی بقایای آتشکده ای مربوط به دوره‌ی ساسانی ساخته شده است. پژوهش حاضر به روش توصیفی- تحلیلی و با بررسی داده های میدانی و مطالعات اسنادی بر آن است تا معماری مسجد را معرفی و کتیبه های به کار رفته در آن را تحلیل موضوعی و ادبی نماید. در این راستا در پی پاسخ‌گویی به این سوالات است: 1- کتیبه های به کار رفته در مسجد جامع قاین چه بازه‌ی زمانی را در بر می گیرد؟ 2- این کتیبه ها در برگیرنده‌ی چه موضوعاتی هستند؟ بررسی های صورت گرفته نشان می دهد که بازه‌ی زمانی نصب کتیبه های به کار رفته در این مسجد، از دوران تیموری تا معاصر را در بر می گیرد. این کتیبه ها موضوعات مختلفی در رابطه با وقف، مالیات، فرمان حکومتی، اشعار، احادیث و غیره است. به طور کلی بیشتر این نقوش در عین دارا بودن معانی و نمادین خاص، متاثر از فرهنگ منطقه، اعتقادات و موقعیت زمانی و مکانی خود هستند.

with the emergence of islam, religious architecture gained significant importance, and the mosque became the successor to previous places of worship (zomarshidi, 1995, p. 9). this shift has played a crucial role in the significance of congregationalmosques, making them stand out even more than other mosques in terms ofdecorative inscriptions (sedaghat, 2008, pp. 19-18). these inscriptions reflect thearchitectural transformations of mosques as well as document significant cultural,economic, social, and political events throughout various eras, providing valuableinformation. this article discusses and recognizes the architecture and inscriptionsof the congregational mosque of qaen, which is one of the important mosques fromthe timurid period in south khorasan province. a review of previous researchreveals that there has been no comprehensive study focused on the architecture,inscriptions, decorations, and formation of the congregational mosque of qaen.therefore, considering the importance of this building, conducting more thoroughand complete research on it will not only clarify its characteristics but also enhance our understanding of the culture and architecture of khorasan.
